I blog because I love to share with other teachers/homeschool parents. My blog is geared for preschool through 1st. I don't think any of us get enough time to network at school and sometimes other staff members don't even want you to use their ideas. Finding resources on the net is extremely time consuming and often frustrating, so I think that what I share and the lesson plans I give away for free are very helpful to others. [link removed]
Thank you, Diane, for sharing. I've been teaching for 16 years now and one of the worst changes I've seen in the schools is how so many teachers don't want to help each other without getting something in return. (TeachersPayTeachers comes to mind.) When I first started teaching, I remember the teacher who brought me to her room and told me to rummage through her file cabinets for anything that I might find useful. You don't see that as much anymore.
