I would love to hear all about what is going on in Equador. It is my dream to travel there and I would love to volunteer and/or tour the Galapogas. I would especially be interested in any short term or long term teaching positions.
MY parents met in Quito back in the late 30's( Holocaust vacationers)--my 2 sisters were born there, and waited ten years to make it to the states. My grandfather remained, opened a shop, and for miles was known as "El Rubio". Oddly, he named it Baazar Alaska on Calle Venezuela. Is anyone around who might remember him? When is the best time to visit? Can you recommend any places to stay? I just retired after 37 years of Crisis Counseling, and boy, could I use a vacation..

Does any one know of a publisher that sells class sets with multiple reading levels? I teach classrooms of students with reading levels well below their class levels. Each class has as many as 4-5 different levels. My levels range from 1st grade to 11th grade.
