Hi

I have an expired teacher's certificate. Can I obtain a job at an international school if my teaching certificate is expired, but I have ample teaching experience in international and US schools? Will international schools not consider me because of an expired teaching certificate?

Dave No, well maybe, but you incur a lot of risks. An expired certificate is an invalid certificate which means you dont have a certificate. If you were already at a school and your certificate expired, you could go years before anyone bothered to check, if they ever check at all. a teacher Yes you can. I know of someone right out of college who just got a teaching job in central Asia without one. I recently met a young man at an airport heading to Africa to teach without a teaching cert. But he had a masters and had worked with kids and had soccer coaching experience.
