On behalf of Bob, Tony, Mary and myself, happy holidays and thank you for all you do for students and for your peers by providing support on Teachers.Net forums!
I'm a 20 year veteran teacher working on her master's degree in ed. leadership.
I have a project that requires I basically take a school with no technology and create a plan for the superintendent to make it a school full of technology!
MY part of this project is web based communications... can you tell me what you would look for in this type of application?

I have downloaded Windows Live Messenger AND Windows Messenger. I would like to get rid of Windows Messenger. Neither appears on my list of programmes so I can't get rid of it through the Control Panel "Install or Remove Programs". How do I remove it? Thanks.

I'm not very tech savvy and I just wanted to get any input to see if there are any ELMO's that don't need to be connected to a separate projector in order to view it. If so, do they have a different name? Our school wants to buy some but it would come be quite pricey if we had buy a projector with each one.
I am currently working on my MA in educational technology, but I will be done very soon. I was a computer technician, now a computer teacher and I want to move closer into the tech coordinator position.
If I get another degree in IT will that make me look better?
