I am curious....I just started tutoring (after 15 years of PK-4 classroom teaching) and love the flexibility and working with students one on one. However, what is the common need of tutors? What do tutors want? Any great ideas of how to get clients? Thoughts on the topic are appreciated!
I know I can download the PA State Standards for 7th grade, but I am looking for something more watered down, like: Teach about fractions, independent clauses, the Bubonic Plague, etc. I need to plan a whole year's worth of curriculum for a 7th grader in Pennsylvania, but I have no idea where to start.
