I am looking to start a tutoring business and work for myself. I have researched both Kumon and Sylvan and found the Kumon Math and Reading center has a lower start-up cost and is more affordable for parents. Anyone have experience with either of these businesses? I am leaning toward Kumon. Any advice would be helpful
Chris I've worked for Sylvan for about a year. My guess is that either franchise will work. If you want a lower cost franchise, there are a few other options. Mathnasium and Club Z! are options.
