I teach a group of upper elementary students who forget the class rules after a few weeks. Does anyone have any meaningful ideas, activities or lessons that they do with their students to help them reinforce the class rules and help them remember to follow them? BTW, my rules are failry simple and there are only 4-5 of them.
KL I have these rules, take-offs from DWP (Discipline With Purpose by Barb Vasiloff). *We will do things the way they are supposed to be done. *We will help each other learn. *We will respect ourselves and each other as children of God.

teach001 I let the children decide what the rules should be, this lets them remember that they made the rules and they will more likely follow them. I even let them pick the punishment for the rules if/when they brake them.
