I am a fourth year teacher who is in a district that is having a lot of financial problems right now. Lots of staff, school budgets, and extras have been cut to save money. Even though I would be tenured next year, I have decided to try to leave. A much better district has called me and I have two interviews in the next week. I have not interviewed in so long so I have no idea what kinds of questions they will ask me or what I should bring. My portfolio is so out of date. I do have a resume and letters of recommendation plus student work samples, but I am not sure what interview teams want to see. Any advice as I get ready to interview for the first time in four years?
