Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

I have been teaching for 5 years. I'm embarrassed to say I don't think I have thrown away a single paper in that time. I make copies of things, always run a few extras "just in case" and now I have these enormous stacks of papers everywhere. They are in my file cabinet, on shelves, in my closet...and I really need to get it all organized. I've read the benefits of binders, and I've read the benefits of folders. I'd love to read some input as to what actually works best for other teachers. Thank you in advance.

Veteran Teacher I have my stuff set up in binders. I used to have files so quite a bit is there still. I started with one subject which was math and worked on a binder of all of my math stuff over a summer. Beverly I'm pretty much all digital, but I've found that it is soooo much easier to be digital online. I am using [link removed]!

Adrienne Do your scanned copies look as good as your originals? I find that my scanned copies are sometimes crooked, slightly cut off, etc. It takes me a while to get it right.

Me too!!!! I find storing everything digitally helps when you have a sub, too. I am going to be gone for a few months. I have my social studies and science units saved in files. Within those files I have a begninning of the unit folder with everything to set up the unit (matierals, books needed, unit plan, etc...) day 1 folder, a day 2 folder and so on and so...See More

PMo I use Mozy for back-up, but find shutterfly is a little cumbersome for text files. Does anyone use any other site?
