I've been toying around with Rails for a bit, but after finding an issue with Rake 0.9.0 and its inability to properly include ::DSL, I am now looking around. Notification and Preliminary Call for Papers
The Ireland International Conference on Education (IICE) will be held from 3-5 of October, 2011 in Dublin. The IICE is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practices in education. The IICE promotes collaborative excellence between academicians and professionals from Education.
The aim of IICE is to provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from various educational fields with cross-disciplinary interests to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research esteem and the evolution of pedagogy. The IICE-2011 invites research papers that encompass conceptual analysis, design implementation and performance evaluation.
The topics in IICE-2011 include but are not confined to the following areas:

This site is a large new and growing website designed to make primary/elementary teachers' job easy. It is a site created by an exteacher who has time on his hands and he thought that he would use his time to save teachers time.
I'm running a local MAMP setup with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver on one development machine, and LAMP running off of Kubuntu on a local workstation. What environment do you use?
I've been brushing up on the specs, and playing with canvas and the new Z index features are fascinating! Has anyone else played with these technologies?
I'm setting up a computer environment for my elementary students and am looking for the best web scraping framework. What do you prefer and why?
