I have created webpages before using Composer w/great success.
I decided to change my entire website. I am using Composer / Netscape 7.2 and after working for hours on my page the images aren't there except for as a broken image square. I am very disgusted.
Please tell me what to do to fix this. I want it up and running for school in a few weeks.

Hi everyone...I am in need of some advice/suggestions. My school has converted our entire website to a blog and we are using Feedblitz to allow parents to sign up for email notifications when we update the individual blogs. My school also has a Foundation, with it's own website (not a blog format). Is there an easy way to have an email notification system for websites? I am familiar with yahoogroups and other setups where you can send out an email, but we are looking for a way to do it automatically. Additionally, it would help to find a free method. Do you have any suggestions? I have posted the website address in case it helps to "see" the website. Thanks!
I am in China, previously my DW worked fine, but now I am unable to access my remote folders.
It seems to connect to the site fine, but when it tries to access remote folders it either 'times out' or says 'an FTP error ocured' or 'loses conection to the remote host'.
I use DW MX on HTML and since last connecting just a few weeks ago have not made any changes on my computer.
China sometimes randomly blocks access to websites e.g.The BBC , Google etc. Is this a Chinese problem or is something else going wrong.
I asked a friend to try to connect to my site from the UK and he had no problem so it would appear that it is not a server problem.
My guess is that you site or ftp is being filtered. There is a pregram, actually a modified webserver called circumventor that would allow you to bypass and filter.
Can anyone help me? I'm getting a degree in Instructional Technology and would like to do some research on the effectiveness of a classroom website and how it effects learning. I've been to all the "standard" places, but does anyone know of any recent research? Thanks!

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Are you investigating online course sites (like WebCT), or just regular sites that teachers create to supplement their classes?

I have been totally perplexed by a problem I'm having and think it may be Dreamweaver's fault.
I recently lost some files on a hard drive crash that were important pages on my site. I want to update them so thought I could download them from the site for the work.
Dreamweaver refuses to open them however, giving me several error messages before closing.
Messages I get when attempting to edit my downloaded file:
1) Corrupt JPG data: premature end of data segment; when I close this error I get:
2)Invalid JPG file structure: two SOI markers; after closing this one I get:
3) The instruction at "0x77f5b2ab" referenced memory at "0x00000028". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.
Front Page does open up the same files with no problem, however I know Dreamweaver and not FP.
The files are .asp, by the way.
If you have any clues, I would greatly appreciate them.
Did you try opening them in FP and saving them under a different file name and then trying to open the newly saved files with DW ??? just a thought, megan
