Re: Do any of you make websites for a side business?

I do work on the side (freelancing).I decided to specialize in Perl Scripting to process
forms, galleries, databases, etc. What began as some
scripting for one person began snowballing with word-of-mouth
jobs ... for which I now charge a fee.

Before you can begin to make money, you need to get pretty
good at what you do. Web design using CSS (style sheets),
server-side scripting such as Perl or PHP, and of course
some Javascripting experience. Along with that goes some
graphics skills and some design creativity.

You can't just wing-it with FrontPage or Dreamweaver.

You need to do several sites and a site of your own.
