Another post on this board got me thinking. I have absolutely no experience with grants, do you have a suggestion where I might find grants that I could try for?
...See MoreI'm in the same boat. I searched the chatboard for other posts and didn't really find any information. My school district has had severe financial problems this last year or so and we just had more cuts (and might have more in January). So, I don't know how I would even find the money to get a LCD projector or a SmartBoard for my classroom.
Sad...

As to creating a lesson, I agree with the other poster. It is similar to Power Point. However, since you have increased capability with the touch screen, you can use the lesson activity toolkit in the Gallery to find the interactive elements that add pop and pizazz to your presentations.

Does anyone have a polyvision whiteboard - TS model. There is one in my new classroom, but no one knows how to use it. I have been projecting power point prsentations on it, but would like to use the touch screen to mark the power point slides. I can't get it to work. Does anyone know how to do this?

Let us know what else would be useful in your classroom and we will create it... for FREE. We are trying to get our portfolio beefed up and are asking for teachers' feedback and suggestions.
Thanks! Kerrie

Since projector lights are expensive to replace (and why just waste energy by letting it run), I do turn off my projector when I leave the room or am done with it for a class period (I teach high school). I leave my computer on, but turn the projector off.

Have any of you used your Smartboard to do a Back to School Night presentation? I would like to use my Smartboard to do a presentation for the parents but need some ideas of what to include on my presentation. Any ideas would be appreciated!
