Balloon pop on smartboard-- Can you enlarge the text???

I want my KDG class to find their names and pop the balloons, however the text is way to small. Is there a way to enlarge the text on the balloons??

For Balloon Pop, the text style can not be edited. The size of the text can only be increased by expanding the size of the balloon. Yo...See More

Besides price (SB being more expensive) what is the difference in the two systems? I know SB in stylus free but is that as sturdy as Promethean? Give me facts... Leslie (Thanks!)

We will soon be getting mimio boards. Will we be able to get things from Smart Board lessons, or do we need to have a SmartBoard notebook to do so? Thanks!

Karen Mahon Hi- You can use your old Smart lessons with the MimioStudio software. From inside of the MimioStudio Notebook software, click on File ---> Open. A dialog box will pop up that lets you navigate anywhere on your computer to find a file. Navigate to the location of your stored Smart lessons. Select the file you wish to use and click "Open."

Microphone hook-up through the Smartboard?????

How can I hook up a microphone through the speakers of the Smartboard? I want to use it during Author's Chair when the students are reading their stories. I have used an old Karoke machine in the past, but the speakers on the Smartboard are so good. Thanks in advance!!!

Hat Doesn't the company that installed it provide the service to do this type of hook-up? IVS is the company that installed our SMARTBoards and they provide on-going support. I would check because they have provided all kinds of help such as fixing my speakers, replacing a messed up USB cable, etc.

I am the technology person at my school and none of the pens that the teacher's have for Mimio will calibrate. We are using dry eraser whiteboards with the projector mounted overhead.
