Has anyone used this equipment? This company claims to use the projector and a built-in CCD camera to project the image onto any surface using an infared pen to interact. I am exploring all possibilites to be able to afford a white board in my second grade classroom. Thanks!

I'm doing a presentation on the use of clickers in the elementary classroom. I'd love to hear how some of you implement clicker in your classrooms or computer labs. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
I know part of the reason for this grant is because so many of our schools are being refurbished. The oldest buildings on many campuses are being torn down and new buildings constructed. The technology is built into the new buildings, so this grant helps some of the other classrooms comparable.

My items were earned by taking various technology based professional development in my district and doing a lot of work for our districts Media and Instructional Technology Department.
What you have to keep in mind with my situation and many others who have lots of "tech toys" is that often money used to purchase these items is from a grant or a specific 'pot' of money that can only be used for certain types of items. It can't be used to pay a teacher's salary - only to buy technology products.
Hi, I am so excited that I get a SMARTboard in my room this fall!!! One (there will be many more) thing I am looking for is a clock with movable hands. I was thinking it would be neat if there was a digital underneath that stayed covered until the students touched it. Anyone see this? Thanks!
TNGo the Gallery and search for clock. There is a clock with moveable hands in the interactive section. There is also a clock with a digital readout underneath. You change the time on the digital clock and the analog clock shows the same time. The digital clock can be hidden.

I guess that the way I did some of the lessons could be duplicated in PowerPoint with a projector but I found the Notebook software easy to use. I felt like it kept my lessons organized in terms of the resources that I wanted to incorporate.
You may be able to get some ideas for creating interactive lessons for your Middle School students at the Teachers Love SMART Boards website.
8/...See MoreI didn't mind your input. I just wanted to clarify what I teach and what grade level so I could hopefully get some help that was a little more specific and helpful for my classroom. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But being the internet, people can't read tone and thus, misinterpret everything posted.
Thanks for the link!

Hi - can anyone tell me if it is easier to make a power point presentation and put it on the smartboard or to make slides in notebook? What would be the difference? Thanks!

Let it go! Let us know what lessons you'd like. We want input from teachers, in return you can have it for free. See our free lessons here... [link removed]

Hi everyone, One reason I use PPT is because of the rehearse timings function. I can make music play through slides and match up to certain slides. Is it possible to get music to play through slides in Notebook software??? Thanks for your help
