I'm Frustrated with my mimio-- Please help!!

Hi, I just got a mimio about 2 weeks ago with minimal training. Is it typical to be having problems like:

When I show a website and go to click on something to move and object I find it very difficult to pick up the object and usually have to even "double click" with my mimio pen.

When I click on the mimio tools they don't seem to change easily. I am constantly going back to the tool bar to try it again.

Also, when I click on a specific tool, it will highlight like i have it, but then when I go to use it, I have the wrong tool.

Thanks for any input.

PW Have you calibrated your Mimio? I believe the bottom button on the bar will bring up the 9-point calibration on the board. You just press the pen in the center of each calibration point and that should take care of the problems you are experiencing. A great option to get up and running quickly. The Quick Learn program provides free, live web-based training session moderated by everyday teachers. This is a great way to learn more in a webinar, where you can directly interact with other teachers and the moderator via microphone and chat. These two options are the best to get up and running quickly.

The issues you are describing below could be a calibration issue, as the more precise you are hitting the points, the better the orientation of the stylus (pen) to the device will be.
