I am at a new school this year. At my past school, I had a Smartboard in my room for 2 years; loved it and used it for everything. My principal has aksed me to do a workshop for staff at our next P.D. Day.

It will be for 45 minutes and a mix of K-8 teachers. I would like to do a brief this is what it can do and then do a big hands on time.

I have lots of ideas and many thigns I could show them but am also looking for suggestions. What would you want to know/see if you were participatign in this workshop?

Thanks!

Tanya

Tanya =^..^= Hi,

Have balloons pop with a subject heading such as Math, Science or Reading and then link that to an activity that would be appropriate for that subject. ( could you pleaseexplain to me how to do this. Does it work with layers?)

Good luck with your workshop too! Thanks!

If you need more information just Google "SMAR...See More

nat I'm doing the same for the french teachers at my school. I 'm going to show them basic basic things...so they don't get overwhelmed... the best way to learn is to play with it anyway...

did you look online? I've seen some "training" sorta notebook files before...

CTJS I used the materials at the SMART website in the training section. For one session, we went over the basics (The Basics 10, SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard Basics 10, and Notebook Software Toolbars 10). For the other session, I used the Notebook Software Activity Guide. I put the link for this below as it was not with the other materials in [lin...See More
