New to SMART Boards

I am a fourth grade teacher. This summer our school is installing SMART Boards in the third and fourth grades. I am expected to integrate this technology into my teaching in the fall. I have only used a laptop for email and for searching in google. Any suggestions for a new user would be great! Thanks

Teri There are many games in the Toolkit. My kids love the one which is similar to hangman. Spend some time going through the Lesson Activity Toolkit, especially the activities and the games. You'll be amazed at all you find.

I want to complete a grant and ask for an interactive whiteboard. Could you tell me if I would need any other "equipment"? Also, do you have a company you use or know about? Teri There's a lot of other components that would be nice to have, but I don't think there's anything else you NEED. I'm not sure how much a whiteboard costs--I think around $2000? The company that helps our school is called AVI-SPL. The company is based in Tampa, Florida (my school's on the other coast in Martin County).
