Hi! I am a preschool teacher at the Miriam College Child Study Center, Quezon City, Philippines. The kindergartners of the school are celebrating their first ever 100th day of school. I would like to use emails from all over the world as a decoration for this day. Please send me a picture of your class and a greeting for the CSC CHILDREN. The 100th day will fall on the 2nd week of November, 2006. I hope we do get 100 emails. Thanks for all your help.

Looking for a Zero the Hero puppet. Mine was lost can't seem to find a place to purchase one. The online phone # for ED designs is oh-so-incorrect!! Can anyone help?
I participated in an exchange like this a few years back. Here's the idea: each classroom mails 100 postcards or valentines to 100 classrooms. They are mailed in January or the first week in February so that all arrive by February 14th which is around the 100th day of school for those who start in September. The valentines could be made or purchased or a picture postcard could be used. When I participated 1 classroom from Africa sent an email valentine because the cost for overseas mail was so expensive. If you are interested please e-mail me your name, school address, grade level and the e-mail address you want others on the list to use.
If anyone has an ideas or suggestions, I welcome them! I figure any grade level, anywhere in the world could participate! When I participated some schools just sent greetings while others included geographic or class information.

I teach Kindergarten and we are book buddies with a 4th grade class. We did a great lesson on similes. First we read Quiet as a cricket. Then we discussed all of the similes. The students said that they were as angry as a ____________, as strong as an___________ etc... Then we drew pictures of popcorn all over a white piece of paper. We then microwaved real popcorn and they wrote a simile about the popcorn on the bottom of the paper. Popcorn is as hot as a volcano or as yellow as the sun... etc... then they ate it up! They had a great time and really got alot out of it!
I teach in Palm Beach Florida- where are you? Please email me at [email removed]
I was told we have to do a BB for 100 days of school next week. I teach 4th Grade. Do anyone have any ideas? I looking for something unique. Thanks!!!!
Check out the bulletin board on this website! After see this last year, four of our classes gave it a try and loved it! We plan to do so again this year! The only difference we made was since we were learning to count by 5's and 10's, we had those square sheets in red and the other numbers in yellow. Hope this helps!

We first graders (I am the mom) have to make a 3-D structure for our 100 day project. I would appreciate any ideas that have worked well for any of you. Thanks!

Well I don't know if it qulifies as 3-D but, last year my son and I used 100 Hershey kisses and made the number 100 with them(it took a while). We decorated around it with the little Hershey kisses flags(100) and alphabet letters etc.
You might try building a "Log" cabin from paper towel and toilet paper rolls.
How about a mobile with 100 objects on it?
