I am a Teacher Assistant.. I need help with a project. I need to do an Interactive Bulletin Board:Subject, Math; Skill areas, Addition 2 digit by 2 digit with regrouping; For: ADHD-4th grade. I have tried looking for ideas..but I can't find anything!.. Can someone give me ideas or a great link for that type of project?
Hi A project you could do would be to pick a state. Everyone gets 4000$ play money. Then, From your school, the kids would find the amount of money it would take to get there. By car, plane, boat... If plane or boat, they would need to rent a car, and stay in a hotel. If by car, they would only need to get a hotel. They also need entertainment, food, and any other need. Like the cost of gas. Then they have to get back to your school. Then they need to do math to find out what the extra money is. That is what I did. it was fun. We could go on computers on website and go to [link removed]

I am starting to use Read Naturally in an after school setting, initially with 3rd graders. I am starting with it as a tutorial- my volunteer can work with 2 at a time. Wish I had 10 volunteers! Thanks for the ideas of pre-discussing or a lead-in, plus reading to your partner. Fleshing out the possibilities...
Carolyn BoughtonI was wondering if anyone would be willing to copy off and send me reads naturally passages with comprehension and retell on the back. I am at a school that will not purchase this for me and I teach with this, but don't have a complete set through 8th grade. Let me know. I would be very greatful to you.
I am looking for ideas to celebrate the hundredth day of school. I teach 4th graders and I am looking for items or ideas that can be used to show hundredths. Fraction or decimal form will work. Please share any ideas that you have. Thanks!
