There is a fabulous series that all EC teachers should look into! It is a wonderful INTEGRATED approach to learning. The publishers are Lasting Lessons. If you are looking for some great 100th Day activities, look in their book Holidays and Celebrations. You can check it out online-- Their web site is:

They have a GREAT poem for the 100th day-- It is really cute, and if memory serves correct, it has 100 words, too. It is great. It is actually published online this year, so check it out! (It is under their Lesson of the Month for January.)
Lasting Lessons also has some GREAT thematic units-- I am currently using one called "Penguins and Mittens." Obviously it is about penguins and winter. I am about to start one called "Rabbits and Healthy Habits." Check them out.... And NO, I am not getting paid to endorse them! I just love their products!
I am not endorsing them either, but I have used their "Bunches of Bugs" and "Tails of the Sea" units and they are outstanding. Victoria.

Primary children seem to get all the fun with 100 Day Activities. I think it would be fun to have a math celebration school wide on the 100th day. Does anyone have 100 day ideas that fit more with 4-6th grade students?
no that is hard you could give all the forth graders $1.00 or play 100 games fo bingo and use the dollar for playing money you could give out no homework passes go some where!!!play agame or u could throw pies at the prinable or at you have a food fight have who can fit 100 pices of gum in there mouth call of any testes for the week no homework have a really big party
Notice them. Smile at them. Let them tell you how they feel. Encourage them to think big. Look them in the eye when you talk to them. Listen to their stories. Ask them their opinion. Answer their questions. Help them learn something new. Respect them. Keep the promises that you make to them. Applaud their success. Accept them as they are. Believe in them. Make time to be with them.
