I am in charge of activities for Dr. Seuss Day at our school on March 5th. The children will be paired with older children (ex K-5th). One of the things I would like to do is have the children create a (small model) new 'clean-up machine' for the Cat In The Hat...so what type of materials should be available for the kids to do this? They will only have about 20 minutes..of-course they will have to do some thinking about it before the actual activity. Any ideas and/or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks..
