I have been passing on some ideas that I copied, adapted, or made-up for quite awhile. I just found out this morning that some of your requests are not getting to me but are going to others who have requested these items on the chatboard. I am truly sorry for inconveniencing others and for the misunderstanding. If you are still interested, please email me directly.

Hello, I am a 7th grade social studies teacher looking for penpals from other countries who speak English. I have approximately 60 students and I am looking for ways for them to understand cultures and customs other than their own through first hand communication with peers in other countries. Please email me if you are interested in this.
I teach Spanish 1-4 (depending on the year) in Iowa. I have about a 15% ratio of native speakers. I would be open to most sorts of penpals for my students in say, Spanish 2. This could mean you have a class of Spanish 2 students you would like to communicate with others learning Spanish. It could also mean that you have an ESL class whose L1 is Spanish and you'd like them to be able to practice English. We could alternate languages if you'd like.
Any help, or even suggestions would be super! Thanks!
I am looking for a thematic unit based on the grade 4 Ontario curriculum for rocks, minerals and erosion. If anyone has science centers for this unit, can you please let me know! Thanks.
HeatherHi, I am Heather and I am about to be a teacher for the first time. So, I was hoping you could give me some ideas/pointes or if you could send me your activities for centers that would be great. Thanks, Heather

I teach 3rd grade at a charter school in San Diego. My students are predominately African-American, so it would be neat to write to students in Africa. However, we would enjoy practicing our friendly letter skills with other 3rd graders as well.
Hi, I am looking for pen pals for my 16 5th graders in Virginia Beach. We would like to snail mail in other parts of our counrty. We would even pen pal with other grades.
