I will have the use of a Permethian Slate for three weeks in my 4th grade classroom. If, after three weeks, I find it extremely useful, then I may get to keep it for the rest of the school year. I'd love some tips, good sites, or some general instructions to make the best use of this computer inhancing tool.
Katie, Google search for Permethian Slate Activities. I am sure you will find a bunch of useful stuff.

I have a chart where I have typed all the books names that I have in my listening center. Then, after the student listens to it, I simply up their initials so I know who has and who has not listened to it. I also have worksheets I sometimes have them do that I found free on the web. (We all love free stuff). One is shaped like a mitten. All the student does is write the title, author, and their favorite part of the book. There are several different ones out there though.

Hi, I had a great professional development on using and understanding assessment data from this company. If you are interested in more information about it, email Chris Minnich at [email removed]

There is a new professional course available that is going to leave a legacy on the future leaders of the World, our children. Wish when we were kids, this course would have been available. 3 years of research and development before releasing this product. For grades 1-3,3-6,6-9,9-12 and beyond.
