In our current globalized century, a real resonance now
offers
A “Hillominous Warning” for sure-
And cautions against the conflicts that the humanity
Of present and future has to endure!
We greeted the dawn of third millennium
Via refined outlook, “Hillonomics”, and a viable hope-
While the brand new definition of world security
Was permeated to allow us to dazzle or cope!
As per “Hillologue”, we tend to think of a threat
To security in terms of war and peace-
Whereas the havoc wreaked by HIV/AIDS
Do threaten us with life’s fun to miss!
A single disease like this continues to affect everything
From peacekeeping to economic goal-
And I consider it a security threat of greatest magnitude
Exacting the human toll!
The real and present danger posed by the AIDS pandemic
Will continue to ring the bell-
Until and unless we see the world security through a new
And wider prism to suppress the tale!
Over the past half-century, efforts have been focused
To resist aggression and stop conflicts of arms-
While the heart of security agenda seemed to ache
Before the warring nations were brought to terms!
Violence on the scale of war within nations
Often occurs for the subtle reasons-
Such as claims of religious or racial superiority,
Irrespective of proofs or prevailing seasons!
Lust for power, disguised as ideology or rationalized
As geo-strategic doctrine wields the knife-
And the tendency to celebrate or defend the exclusivity
Moves by demonizing and dehumanizing others life!
Poverty, followed by the collapse of hopes and
expectations,
Opens to “H-Ray Limit” and the evil leadership as a rush-
While the tone of dominating the “weak” by the “powerful”
Reverberates the “Hillolsphere” in a gush!
Irrespective of above threats reigning our global community
now,
There are “new” things under the sun-
And they will challenge international orders to raise the
issues
Of war and peace to silence the gun!
We have a chance to become the change we wish to see
In the world through “H-Ray Vision”-
And seek a common agreement to recognize the new
Powerful truth for humanity mission!
Via “H-Ray Tracing”, I can feel the resonance
Beneath the surface of every human heart-
And prescribe a few changes in the way
We live on this planet before we fall apart!
For the sake of world security, we must forge
An agenda to initiate the change-
And tackle the challenge of global pollution
With success from a very close range!
Drugs and corruptions spewing across
Within and among the national borders is only a few-
And seem to defeat governance, in spite of security,
Under the global view!
Easy access to nanotechnology and the new weapons
Of mass destruction is magnifying the global challenge of
terror-
’Cause they can be concealed in a coat pocket or shoe
And triggered in a flush without an error!
The new pandemics and strains of old disease
Are getting notoriously resistant to many antibiotics now-
So the researchers around the world are needing to haunt
For solutions scooping the technical know-how!
Through “Hillomorphic Explorations”, I am convinced well
About the current global security needs-
And it must be pursued with strong determination
And adequate resources to sow the seeds!
Creative use of the new tools like Internet may bring us
together
To achieve the “H-Ray Effect” of humanitarian goals-
While the emerging Global Information Infrastructure,
Used imaginatively, will uplift the million souls!
So as I activate the “H-Ray Catalyst”, I feel that our task
Is not merely to recognize the challenges at hand-
Rather, we need to work together to make our dreams a
reality
From the Rockies to the desert sand!
We must create a world where people’s faith
In their own capacities will unlock the door-
Of human potential, and justify the ever-widening circle
Of human dignity with a positive uproar!
Environmental degradation and exclusion of people
From the benefits of globalization are also the salient
actors-
To deviate us from the desired paths of equality and
freedom,
Land-mined by the geo-political actors!
Thus, the demographic shocks bring the social
And economic shocks in utter despair-
And photosynthesizes the “H-Ray Phenomenon”
To erode social fabric to deserve the global stare!
Well, as I walk down the “H-Ray Nomenclature”,
I smell the aroma of global challenges of our time-
And dream about a newer world of security for humanity,
Echoed through the winds’ chime!
Threats that were once local can now have consequences
With regional or even global impact-
While the damage once temporary may now become chronic
Or catastrophic, depending on how we react!
So “Hillologue” offers the words of didactic wisdom
To comprehend the old conception of global security range-
With its focus almost solely on armies, ideologies,
And geopolitics, but now it has to change!
Conflicts and the resulting movements of people,
Armed soldiers or refugees, fuel the epidemic without a
doubt-
And will create the erosion of human capital
Against an obscure and a complex geo-political shout!
As a cheerleader of human solidarity, my soul trots
in “Hillolsphere”
To seek guidance from the “H-Ray vision”-
And equates the human mind, drenched with dream and
ingenuity,
To fill up the canyons of my current mission!
The hurdles may come and threats of death will haunt me
Like an ebb tide in the sea-
But I am dauntless to paint the facts on a global map
To secure the happiness key!
We must bend in the direction of life, not death;
Justice, not oppression; and opportunity, not deprivation,
for sure-
And re-define the calligraphy of global imperatives for the
present
And future generations, with an environment too pure!
For almost all the years of recorded history, I find
That we have neglected many issues affecting the mankind-
But now let’s invest our quests to achieve “H-Ray Effect”
to eradicate
The conflicts and sufferings of restless mind!
Let us balance the difficult issues of intellectual
property rights
With life-saving medicines and as such-
And prevent the scourge of AIDS as an epidemic,
Before it creates the toll too much!
Well, as I lay the bricks of hope towards the foundation
Of a sustainable world with jubilance and three cheers-
I hope to see the urge for open dialogues
That won’t fall incessantly into deaf ears!
Remember, security threats to humanity are grave
As the war itself, and encourage the evil act-
While HIV/AIDS is a cruel manifestation of global challenge
As a silent killer proving the fact!
Twin evils of humanity are now stretching their claws
On the planet’s habitats in an unprecedented way-
So we must put our efforts as a part and parcel of bridge
For peace with security that should never sway!!

Recently the issues of nanotechnology* are gaining
Top momentum to let the world bounce-
And are offering both promise and peril of existence
In our brain of every ounce!
Construction of tiny objects, smaller than a molecule,
Is booming and quietly paving the way-
To provoke controversial policies and agendas,
While the security threats seem to sway!
Throughout the last decade, nanotechnology has ushered in
To impact our interdependent world in every field-
Such as manufacturing, medicine, energy and environment,
With a promise of deterrence or safety shield!
Smallest things that are beyond our imagination today
Will be made possible by nanotechnology for sure-
And messengers like microscopic robots are underway
To deliver drugs through bloodstream for diseases to cure!
But in spite of its early success, worries prevail about
threats
On human health and environmental pollution-
And we find so many examples of ill effects
That had raised concerns, instead of a solution!
Ozone-destroying chemicals were once considered harmless,
Until recently the prolonged effects came to light-
Followed by the spraying of pesticide DDT,
And asbestos fireproofing that had to go out of sight!
As per “H-Ray Tracking”, the present humanity
Faces unprecedented threats on this Earth-
Emanating from a trio of technologies, considered benign,
And they might even destroy our mirth!
Biotechnology, Robotics, and Nanotechnology
Are running rampant globally, greeted by their fans-
’Cause of their commonality, to produce and duplicate,
And become more powerful than humans!
Today, “Hillominous Warning” predicts the potential
threats
Looming on silver lining behind the present human cloud-
And waits at the mercy of rogue scientists globally,
When playing with self-replicating nanomachines are
disallowed!
Forecasts in “H-Ray Vision” assert the births
Of nano-robots not too far away from now-
And they are growing in the uterus of the researchers
Who have honed the technical know-how!
New forms of pollutions and safety of lab workers
From the nanomaterials may even overshadow the fears-
Irrespective of the prospect of nanotechnology
And proven facts, culminated over the few years!
Based on “Hillonomics”, nanotech investors and scientists
Seem to fear a backlash now on their jovial moods-
Created by the rejection of too many unknowns
Of nanoparticles in genetically modified foods!
So I see the efforts are shaping up to start a meaningful
dialogue
Among nanotech advocates, researchers, and skeptics as well-
To educate the public and identify the pros and cons
For allowing the deeper thoughts to dwell!
The potential for social backlash may also be born
Out of misinformation in various form-
Enhanced by the lack of real issues with overblown fears,
And hidden effects away from the norm!
To dramatize the public trust, the properties and behavior
Of nanomaterials are under critical study now-
With an attempt to determine their long term effects
That human body and our environment can allow!
Nanosized particles, if inhaled, can travel from the lungs
To other macro-organs in the body for sure-
And may demand fast medical attention for survival
With difficult breathing and less pain to endure!
Because of the newer technology, regulatory statutes
At potential toxicity of nanoparticles are yet to be born-
While the smokestacks, tail pipes, wild fires, and storms
Are vitiating the air daily to trigger the public scorn!
As the nanotechnology is crossing the hurdles now,
And will continue to progress through the upcoming years-
I feel the need for public discussions to disallow this
technology
To flounder and exploit the public fears!
Well, peace and development of humanity can’t subsist for
long
Without the sound science and good governance of any land-
And so I share my thoughts today for reflection,
discussion,
And consultation about the nanotechnology to expand!
Remember, sustained growth and progress require universal
sense
Of global security around the clock-
While “Hillologue” promotes the adherence to all innovative
ideas
And allow global partnerships to flock!
Undoubtedly, the nanotechnology will prove its worth, I
hope,
As it matures with applications over the time-
And weave a profound scientific logic and topicality
With a new vibrant impetus to humanity chime!
However, with the waves of decades, I will float away,
But do think my scribbling of today will continue to tell-
About the spirits of global cooperation and compromise
For today and tomorrow, and ring the survival bell!!

The long-term security of civilized mankind of today and
tomorrow
Is threatened by the subtle effects of global warming-
And the problems are becoming vicious, like chemical,
nuclear,
Or biological weapons, depicted in the “Hillominous
Warning”!
I feel, the human-induced climate change continues
To create global threats in silence for sure-
And just like the international terrorism, it doesn’t stop
At the boundaries for sufferings to endure!
Without a pre or post-warning, it can strike anywhere,
To induce the damage or loss in any form-
Such as the heat wave in one place, followed by the flood
Or draught in another, with a tropical storm!
Today, “H-Ray Tracking” reveals that global warming
Is already upon us to cause a tremulous uproar-
As evidenced in the1990s, as the warmest decade
In the last thousand years or even before!
According to a recent assessment of WMO*,
1998 has been recorded as the warmest year-
And the trend will continue to threaten weather patterns
Globally with a treacherous and latent fear!
So “Hillolscope” reveals the severe impacts of global
warming,
Like the lethal “weapons of mass destruction” of today-
And it will keep the minds of meteorologists,
environmentalists,
And seismologists worried or sincerely at bay!
As per recent warning of WMO, extreme weather events
Will be more frequent due to the global climatic change-
And we have already witnessed the severity over many areas
Of the world from a very close range!
The U.S. mainland was struck by deadly tornadoes in May,
And too many people were killed this year-
While the parts of developing world were also the hardest
hit,
With numerous losses that remained unclear!
Extremes of climate tend to be more intense at low
altitudes,
As per “Hillologue” and critical scientific review-
And the poorer nations are less able to deal with
disasters,
With the exceptions of only a few!
The killer heat wave in France and Europe this year
Has taken the true unprecedented tolls-
And demonstrated the terrorisms of global warming
Among the most scientific souls!
Well, it’s true that a single weather event to climate
change
Cannot be linked to the special scientific arms-
But the higher maximum temperatures denote the most
Predictable impacts of global warming harms!
So the “H-Ray Vision” draws the parallels today between
Global terrorism and climate change now-
And offers “Hillominous Warnings” about global security,
Ravaged by the climate change, to disallow!
As per Kyoto** agreement and “H-Ray Tracing”, global
reductions
In greenhouse gas emissions now we desperately need-
At least for the next fifty years, to build a sustainable
world,
As an assurance for our very own survival seed!
So a sense of urgency looms distinctly on
the “Hillolsphere”,
For global implementations as the salient factors-
And the developing and developed nations must act together
To align their worried weather-policy actors!
Equitable distribution of emission permits may be offered
globally
To each nation assigned under the plan-
And the mechanisms of “Hillonomics” of efficiency with
Economic convergence must be built-in to govern the
political clan!
The developing countries in no way should be excluded
From the emission targets, and they must follow the rule-
While the adherence of all the developed nations
With “contraction and convergence” plan would keep the
planet cool!
I am afraid, the current scenarios emerging from emissions
Will increase the pollutions and global warming speed-
And may even lead the researchers and meteorologists to
predict
The dire consequences with death tolls indeed!
Well, in “H-Ray Vision”, the current trend of global
warming
Is more dangerous than any other type of modern warfare-
Irrespective of chemical, nuclear or biological weapons,
It does threaten the global security with a vacant stare!
To me, this is a new lethal weapon of mass destruction of
humanity
By the self-induced climate change-
So may I forewarn about the impacts towards long-term
global security,
Digging its own grave, with a foolish revenge??

On the special occasion of “Beatification of Mother Teresa”
(October 19, 2003), I would like to share my appreciations
for her silent follower and Poet Laureate, Mr. Hillol Ray,
a native of Calcutta/Kolkata, India. Thanks!!

Over the past several decades, Hillol Ray (HR), the Poet
Laureate, has become an apostle and a synonym for Human
Rights (HR). Through his countless beautiful thought-
provoking poems, he has successfully awakened people from
the torpor of indifference or willful ignorance to the
suffering of so many around the world. I often wondered
how he accomplishes to be such a fruitful and prolific
writer and poet besides his professional job as an
Environmental Engineer with the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) in Dallas, Texas. Must be a
special grace…
In the hilarious and rude JARGON of the country of my
birth, Austria, this is called: "He puts his finger where
it really stinks"- forgive me dear readers if this is rude,
but its authentic Austrian.
I had a rare opportunity to come across Hillol Ray
accidentally at the time when the disaster of the Russian
submarine Kursk had taken place. The poem entitled: “THE
KURSK” I composed and posted on the various web sites and
magazines about this sad incident vented my anger against
the ruthless national pride of the Russians who inhumanly
permitted 118 lives to perish beneath the icy water of the
Berents Sea while turning down the offered helping hands
from around the world. Being an ardent advocate of Human
Rights, my poem caught the attention of Hillol Ray and he
offered his positive comments on the poem and this was how
we got to know each other. I still vividly remember the
excitements that persisted in my heart to read his
comments, followed by a personal phone call, later that
afternoon, to my home from such a renowned personality!
After that, on several occasions, we conversed about Mother
Teresa and he told me had written a tribute poem “Mother of
the Universe” about her. Mother Teresa was still living
with us at the time. Hillol Ray recited the poem to me
over telephone and I was simply amazed and deeply moved by
his profound voice and selection of words to convey his
sincere gratitude to our Mother on behalf of the humanity
of today and tomorrow. His voice and words of praise about
our universal Mother lingered in my ears for several
weeks… It was for the first time in my life that I heard a
poet who had sung praise in a poetic form about our Mother.
Years went by…. Over the course of time, Mr. Ray became
aware of my proficiency in language translation skills and
approached me with a unique request if I would be willing
to translate his work into another tongue. I truly felt
humbled and honored by his request and realized that this
will be a golden opportunity for me to get acquainted with
an amicable charismatic persona, Hillol Ray. I immediately
agreed to translate his poem into my native language,
German. Well, as I recall today, I told this saga of
translation of his poem and a rare glimpse of opportunity
to work with Hillol Ray to my friends and acquaintances
around the world. (I was so thrilled!!.. to say the
least). I approached my friends with language and
translation skills for several weeks, and finally my French
girl friend and Professor, Mme Hughuette Gougeon-Liboiron
of Canada agreed to translate it into French. During my
phone conversation with Mme Hughuette, she reiterated the
same excitement in translating Hillol Ray’s poem into
French. She even whispered to me that she did not need any
introduction of Hillol Ray and his poetry, because “I am
his silent admirer, and share his poems with my friends and
colleagues globally”. The triple version (English,
German, and French) can be read on Mr. Ray's Home Page at

Today, as we walk down the isles of poetry field, we can
immediately feel the sparks of Hillol Ray's poetic and
literary efforts and accomplishments. They cover a wide
range and great variety of topics with a “clear message”,
all dealing unequivocally with the issues related to human
suffering and violation Human Rights. The list of his poems
is so long… Among them, the issues that are prominently
dealt with include: Poverty, HIV/AIDS, Malnutrition, Human
Trafficking, Migrant Worker, Natural Disaster Reductions,
Environmental degradation, Global Warming, and many
others. To my amazement, I have observed, in an effort to
create his poems more appealing to the readers, he cleverly
and wisely injects his educational and professional
backgrounds. Words such
as: “Hillonomics”, “Hillolsphere”, “Hillologue”, “H-Ray
Vision”, “H-Ray Tracing”, “Hillomorphic Explorations”, “H-
Ray Nomenclature”, “Hillominous Warning”, “H-Ray
Catalyst”, “H-Ray Phenomenon”, “Hillol’s Limit”, “H-Ray
Effect”, “H-Ray Tracking”, and “Hillolscope”, etc. clearly
imply his innovative blending and marriage of Science and
Literature in a pivotal way. I believe, the prophetic
messages he conveys through his poems today will trigger
the stern voice of humanity in the third millennium and
beyond.
Now Mother Teresa, who inspired Hillol Ray so much since
his childhood in Calcutta / Kolkata, India, is gone from
us, and the artists all over the world will start in their
ateliers, the molding, chiseling and carving of her statues
and replicas to be raised to the altars in the near
future. So on this special day (October 19, 2003)
of “Beatification of Mother Teresa, as a close follower of
her Sainthood, I utilize this humble opportunity to bestow
my respect to and declare that Hillol Ray can take the
deserved pride in having been the WORLD’S FIRST BARD AND
RHAPSODIST OF MOTHER TERESA.
Mother Teresa loved India more than any other country, even
so her love extended over the entire world and covered
every land and human being, - and thus is rightly
called "UNIVERSAL MOTHER" who found her first bard and
rhapsodist in Mr. Hillol Ray, a native of Calcutta (also
known as Kolkata), India. He clothed her universality for
the first time with the adequate words of due praise
through his poem: “Mother of the Universe”.

On my memory lane, I find many countries,
Caught in a grey zone between war and peace-
Followed by eruptions of armed conflicts
Resulting in violent deaths that we can’t afford to miss!
We still continue to watch the vivid scenes of bloodshed
In war-ravaged areas on this planet Earth-
And places like Israel-Palestine or Iraq are bathing
In terrors via fanning of weapons’ hearth!
Somehow we seem to be relaxed in the comfort of our home
’Cause we stay there alive and well,
While the shadows of deaths loom around to create the chill
Where our thoughts have to dwell!
Since the dawn of civilization, our learning has been
focused
Towards being fit and ready for life intact-
And all our skills or trainings lead us to stay alive
Against the lethal blows of horrible pain as a matter of
fact!
Burning and destruction walk hand in hand
In many troubled parts of the world from dusk till dawn-
And the fear of death seems to fade away
Through the innocent civilians, being used as their only
pawn!
But here, in our “safe” cities, if we look
Through “Hillolscope”, we can find that death is all around
us-
And is conquering us in subtle ways, by pernicious
substances,
Excessive food, and toxic fumes from auto and bus!
Death assaults us as cardiac failure and malignant cancer
In highest proportions for sure-
And we go to the hospitals to get well, but may turn
Into a new victim of hospital infections to endure!
In “H-Ray Vision”, I manage to see that death is circling
To finally reach us and that’s a sure thing-
But we aren’t ready for it, and no one has taught us
To be prepared to throw away this concept with a fling!
Death is inevitable, sooner or later, since we were born,
And money can’t guarantee it either-
So tears will fall from the canyons of the hearts
Without any hesitations of nor or neither!
With technological innovations and on-line courses,
May be we can sign-up for an evening or a weekend course-
To prepare us to accept death, natural or suicidal,
Or at a gunpoint, using a vicious force!
Through my professional contacts, I have learned
About horrible deaths and their terrible tales-
Like in Germany, these are common for terminal patients
Who can mingle with dying patients in their cells!
During a summer voyage, I discovered the saga
Of the dying cancer patients and their silenced voice-
In the Ricam-Hospiz* of Berlin, where cancer patients
Are treated to accept death as their only choice!
Upon such acceptance, medicines are withdrawn
With the exception of those calming the pain-
And the realization of this final stay in death house
Brings calmness along the inmates’ vein!
For a journey to the common destiny, the final
Todesspritze**
Is given at will of the patient or the heir-
To eliminate the vegetative states or feelings of pain
And heartbreaks among the loved ones to share!
Remember, for modern neuroscience, death is the ceasing
Of the expressions of your individual genome-
And your cells will no longer produce substance,
Rather you will render molecules to universe, an eternal
home!
New cycles will be formed, and your genes will continue
To live through thick and thin to dwell-
But only if you have been careful enough in the past
To raise your children and nurture them well!
As per “H-Ray Tracing”, wise men of ancient times
Warned us about the death through various tale-
‘Cause for them, life was a preparation for accepting
death,
And modern history muses that to tell!
In the past, people had a better understanding
And disposition towards the death at any age-
Due to its frequent occurrence, mostly at home,
Followed by burial or cremation described in history page!
In the last century, death was confined to hospitals
And nursing homes of individual choice-
And people duplicated their life spans, while common man
Experienced fewer deaths with subtle voice!
Usually men forgot to be ready for dying with an assumption
That death was a long way to come or touch-
And enjoyed the lesser stress-free life, with devotion
To the community and feelings as such!
Modern life is more fragile because of new diseases;
And pollutants are playing a deathly roulette for sure-
While the violent death has become an absurd common place
To keep our minds too pure!
Through the “Hillorious Thought”, a new awareness of death
Has become public by some countries now-
And euthanasia is being discussed, and approved
By hegemonic powers in the name of terrorism vow!
Well, for those with near-death experience, we find that
Once the ceasing of oxygen is felt by the brain-
A sudden paralysis of the heart occurs,
And neurons explode to call failing organs inside a body
train!
The feeling of death permeates the brain,
And abandon any further struggle to prolong-
Then an incredible silence of paradisiacal peace
Invades the mind to sing the last song!
Final glowing light salutes the departing neurons
That will plunge together into the unquestionable darkness-
And the eternal universe will swallow the relinquished
substance
Of our own being with meticulous starkness!!

The universal demands for a world of dignity and right
Can no longer be ignored for sure-
And by acknowledging our human rights
That we acknowledge our humanity to endure!
We live in an era of awareness of individual rights
Along with the environmental pollutions-
And there are many expressions of human capacity,
Swayed by “extreme” or “negative” solutions!
According to neuroscience, the possibility of evil systems
Is grounded in the physiology of our brain-
While the thoughts to bring down barriers move,
Like water swirling down the drain!
The synaptic systems can build the real “black hole”
That is hard to come by-
And the vital instruments that form the basis
Of such work at times sigh a deep sigh!
This reflects on the mental diseases
As the well-complicated social issues and forces of arms-
To bridge the gap between “rights” and “realities”
In a subtle manner to create the charms!
An idea can generate a real problem in mind,
As it happens to jealous wives or anorexic boys-
But it can also give rise to vicious “wars”,
As those of modern times, based on destruction “toys”!
Distorted ways to look at things affect the moral code
In revealing the progresses made-
As well as the work that remains to be done,
Regardless of frontiers, held in the shade!
Through “H-Ray Tracking”, I reviewed the moral codes
That allowed us to survive in tribal years-
And dilapidated the concepts over modern outlooks
To include the environmental issues with cheers!
Today, “Hillorious Thought” reveals the pattern or behavior
Of animal instincts, dealing with single-minded way-
And they either devour their opponents
Or flee away from them while their hearts throb to sway!
But men have evolved through millions of years
In a more complicated way to look at the things-
And developed a complex moral code to categorize
Our companions in step with queens or kings!
We have streamlined the common sense to weigh things
In different shades of gray-
And have allowed us to display the outcomes
Through survival of our species on a world-size tray!
Thus, the moral code, ethical and esthetical emotions
Should guide us in the long run-
And not into “extreme solutions”, but into reasoned,
Balanced and moral solutions under the sun!
Via “H-Ray Tracking”, I find many appalling acts
Of “extreme solutions” on our history page-
Like the Anglos destroyed the Indian tribes,
Or illegally kept them like birds in a cage!
Spanish Kings expelled the Jews from their lands
And even burned them alive in the bonfire-
While the actions of Hitler to the Jewish survival
Are embarrassments that we don’t admire!
And so, on and on, I can pile up thousands
Of “extreme solutions” escaping the common sense rule-
And these are too hard to understand
By any intellectual with a research tool!
At times, I wonder about human mind
That can allow the creation of evil systems in disguise-
Just as well as the wonders of civilization and prosperity
Through “Hillonomics” exercise!
Modern day happenings are also giving us
A fair share of “extreme solutions”-
And they seem to escape reason or common sense,
Causing the mental pollutions!
The painful development of our moral devotion
Or simple justice seems to fly-
Evidenced by the invasion of a country
Through false pretense and then problems multiply!
To prevent the growth of violence
Or teen-age criminality, we decide to build more jail-
And never think that it’s cheaper to send them to college,
Rather than having their “education” in hell!
In “H-Ray Vision”, I find the “extreme solutions”
Are growing and becoming very normal now-
And the nations seem to like it through progressive modes
Of the Internet and technical know-how!
To my dismay, corporate executives, too, inflict violence
To fellow employees not by robbing a mere “survival” amount-
Rather by tens of thousands of billions in cash or kind,
And deplete their retirement account!
So I wander in awe and ask: ”What’s the purpose
Of robbing such large amounts overnight”?
It seems “extreme” to me, for feeding
Their future generations under a limelight??
Rampage of shootings in schools or public places
Is now creating the mood of tense-
Like the teenagers and postal workers, who dislike
Their companions are wiping them out of existence!
Common men are not looking at others
As fellow men of grace and reason-
Instead, they look at them as the possible source
Of “extreme solutions” throughout all season!
Well, the “Hillorious Thought” that prevails
in “Hillolsphere”
Now pre-warns us before we go to hell-
And advocates the extension of our moral sense
To all life forms, visible or under the veil!
We are linked genetically not only to all members
Of our own species, but also with others as well,
And should share the planet Earth with all her resources
To allow our thoughts to swell!
Today, I think, this revelation of mind
Will assist the humanity to resolve the survival fears-
Through the aversion of “extreme” or “final” solutions
And watching the joy of tears!
To me, these types of solutions
Are only the aberrations of our shallow mind-
So we should rather cease to be confronted
With succession of cruelties to benefit the mankind!!

Prejudice, on the other hand, is an old taint
That paints the world with color and hue-
And it’s common with a vision of intolerance
That’s scarring our societies in public view!
This is deeply troubling in itself, as well as a hindrance
To the development of human race-
And it’s also a breeding ground for armed conflict
And terrorism, growing on the Earth’s face!
We tend to see “others” as foreign, malicious,
And sometimes a nuisance on our land-
And try to build up an array of laws, institutions,
And watchdogs with a power band!
People born in a “Third World” country
Tends to believe that they have birth defects-
And wonder about their poverty, diseases,
Or corruption with affirmations of ill effects!
There ascends an inherent shame at being Asian,
Latin American or Muslim with an excuse-
And forms the basis of social and economic progress
Of our society with a tiny “fuse”!
So, in order to break the vicious cycle of prejudice,
We must nourish each soul-
Through a virtuous cycle and a feeling for “others”
That must play an active role!
In the wake of present “bio-terrorism age”,
The local shame is compounded by suspicions for sure-
And for the airlines, the foreigners with daunting beards
Have to face “extra checking” and endure!
Undoubtedly, shame makes us resentful, shy
And incapable of speaking out-
And we don’t even try to speak our mind,
And make us nod without a shout!
It’s hilarious to observe that the “Third World” Rulers
Are too obnoxious with own countrymen-
But they tend to courteous talk, and accept
The “Masters of the World” for “blue blood” in their vein!
“Third World” Rulers hardly protest,
Even though their countries are being run down-
By non-payable debts, organized corruptions,
And knee-bending condescendence in the town!
In the past, the odds were simpler,
’Cause it was the slavery or colonialism in mind-
But today the political malaise is subtler
Via news media and elsewhere we can find!
Any real opposition may brand the “Third World” Ruler
As the “enemy of progress” on Earth-
And may even label as “bio-terrorism prone”,
“Enemy of democracy” who can destroy the mirth!
So these Rulers tend to keep quiet
And echo the “Masters of the World” voice-
In the hopes of being rewarded as the cronies
With unquestionable freedom or own choice!
Well, this makes the citizens of the “Third World”
Ashamed of the leadership and heritage-
And the lack of pride molds them to be shy,
In spite of adequacies in their age!
By feeling shame and shy, the “Third World” citizens
Can’t escape the modern oppression and power-
And they need to be proud for their achievements,
Etched on the “patent” tower!
Remember, human genome is totally shared globally,
And will remain alive and well-
And it has the potency of working wonders
Where our future will dwell!
Above all, they should be proud of being humans,
Who are now living on alien land-
And over time, feelings of racial supremacy will cease
To play the “welcome” band!!

It’s a crucial moment for me to consider the message
Through poems that I need to send-
To focus on ensuring the culture of peace,
Where progress of humanity won’t have to bend!
The 20th century has left us with an impressive set
Of globalization tools for a sustainable Earth-
And it’s so synonymous with “H-Ray Vision” of awareness
And reality with the third millennium’s birth!
Political efforts to fight impunity and promote justice
Are laying the foundation for the rule of laws-
But often these are resorting to extreme violence
To denounce the “Masters of the World” and their claws!
So I like to offer my poems as a pulpit to air grievances,
Share experience, and bare the mind-
And I am convinced, it will create the dynamic blueprints
To reflect upon priorities that we have to find!
Great poets did try to depict reality and see to it
That some beneficial changes were made-
And thus the books of political poems were born
With harsh satires that will never fade!
Oppressive regimes may direct the hardships
Caused by sanctions towards the oppressed voice-
Followed by atrocities and progressive forces
To trample on the millions’ choice!
These may be the sources of poems that try to grasp
The problems and go for a public view-
In a very few words and emotional ways,
To wrestle with poetic minds, thoughts and hue!
Metaphors may be used, but it’s the feeling of rejection
Of evil, or tenderness towards the common man-
And need to seek to work with every walk of civil society
To determine the total outcome span!
Through the “Hillolscope”, I manage to see the atrocities
In the name of progress or civilization-
By the very rich against the very poor, across the globe
And along open or close borders of the nation!
There’s a yearning for these expressions of tenderness
That evoke what is human or moral in our logical self-
And thus I see the role of poems, as a condenser of critic
Of wrong and harsh, for promotional help!
Poems that are most remembered have to deal with reality,
And must have a new or unique vision-
To broaden our mind, and offer a moral lift to our thoughts
Of global humanity mission!
Poems accommodating to Kings, Popes and powerful Masters
Have faded in memory lane-
But the gospel of realities, inked with echoes of hearts,
Will live forever, via sufferings and pain!
Modern times require voice and liberty of young and old
poets
For their frustrations to vent-
On behalf of the common man, drenched in oppressions,
Who can hardly cause a political dent!
“H-Ray Tracing” reflects on modern life as full of progress
That has enslaved us in a tiny capsule form-
And has taken away the cultural life with “human feelings”
To create the clouds of economic storm!
So I sense the advent of new robotic generations,
Engaged in guarding the national borders-
And are using the other nations for self-enrichment
Through an impetus of New World Orders!
In developing world, countries thrive under corrupted
regimes,
Funded by the hegemonic “Master”-
And act as a “puppeteer” for the Third World Ruler
To doom those nations faster!
Political incoherence, military castes, and exploitation
Of oil and minerals continue to achieve the Masters’ goal-
While the interchange of local goods becomes harder,
And the split markets face the toll!
In short, they are divided and conquered for imposition
Of modern slavery of hegemonic power-
And the world remains silent or stands in awe to watch
A traumatized generation from a colonial tower!
Through the poems, “Hillolscope” reveals injustice
And sufferings that have been crying out for a global view-
While the victims of racisms and political persecutions
Are facing imprisonment with the exception of a few!
So, I like to see the role of modern poets
As that of a prophetic voice at an early stage-
To warn people and call attention to his/her inner self
With an eternal yearning of justice with a tutelage!
Remember, these feelings were formed in our past tribal
life
Without a vengeance for sure-
Whereas the “modern man”, devoid of tribal, ethical
And emotional feelings, is looking for an easy cure!
The “power house” of “established institutions”
Has manipulated richness and power to rule over the Earth-
And orchestrated the public opinions to constitute
A “world government” for controlling the mirth!
For them, the main answer to solve world problems
Is to create conflict, destruction, or killing-
And force the nations into subservience
To the “power house” to arouse the bone chilling!
The false proclamations to preach democratic rule
And progress continue in disguise to shed crocodile tears-
And decimation of population with revolutionaries
Re-defines the difference between life and death for years!
Over the past several decades, we have witnessed genocides
In “modern forms” and their virtual source-
But this is a crime against humanity, and we must locate
The culprits to seek redress through a judicial force!
So, as a cheerleader of the ideology of human rights,
Now I sense the tintinnabulation via the “H-Ray Vision”-
And am sure, the aspirations of modern poems will be
The inspirations of future humanity embedded in my poetic
mission!!
