In the aftermath of drugs trafficking and migrant
smuggling,
I find another trend quietly on the rise-
Through the trafficking of women and children globally
Across the borders, with a risk of their demise!
Movements of human trafficking are based on deception,
And coercion or sexual exploitation as well,
And have become the fast profitable criminal activities
In which the smugglers seem to dwell!
“Hillolscope” reveals, most smuggled migrants are men,
While trafficked persons are women and children of various
age-
And they face “modern-day” slavery with “veiled
incarceration”
In our own backyards, with a minimum wage!
Globalization has posed new challenges for women,
And made them more vulnerable to inequalities on the Earth-
And the economic necessities are placing them at greater
risks
Or on “sexual bondage” in a brothel’s hearth!
Street children, subjected to abuse, have also become
victims,
And are crawling under the traffickers’ net-
And the predators are causing an increase in prostitutions,
With “slave-like” conditions for women to hate!
The sex-tourism industry is booming in developing nations
Due to poverty, lack of regulation and control-
While human traffickers continue to benefit via networking
And are placing the laws under rock-and-roll!
Techniques for luring the victims into lucrative job offers
Or businesses keep these networks on the run-
And the traffickers rely on long-term exploitation
Via “debt-bondage”* or “owner-slave” ** relationship under
sun!
Trafficking is intertwined with criminal activities like
extortion,
Racketeering, money laundering, bribery, or drug abuse-
And it can be the part of an organized crime group,
Or be the individual decision for immediate profit and muse!
As per “H-Ray Tracking”, on-line bride industry has cropped
up
Recently to give women trafficking a new form-
And sometimes, it leads to fraud or abuse,
And even irks the Interpol to cause immigration storm!
Quite often the children are trafficked across the borders,
Or from rural to urban areas for sell-
And are marketed to pedophile rings in a foreign country
For making movies of crazy pornographic tale!
The basic promises of human trafficking is based on
Exploitation of gross sufferings and poverty for sure-
Caused by the lack of social integration, followed by
The gender inequality for women to endure!
“Hillorious” thoughts denote, blending of regional
conflicts
With economic recessions may trigger an outburst at times-
To propel human trafficking to neighboring nations,
When the value of life equals nickel and dimes!
In the developing world, trafficking of drugs and human
Is becoming the only way out of poverty now-
And the women prostitutes are sedated on drugs,
While brothel owners run trafficking with a silenced vow!
Through “Hillologue” and international awareness,
Global community has stepped up the human trafficking fight-
And expressed a new willingness to “Hillonomics” to
eradicate
Such “organized crimes”, and bring them under light!
I feel, the strategies of prevention, protection,
And prosecution should be followed in a cooperative manner-
’Cause this is a crime against humanity, and must be
wrestled
Under the open international banner!
Cross border cooperation will be needed to share
information
And enforce the extradition cause-
While the adoption of extraterritorial criminal laws
Will penalize the own citizens without a pause!
International efforts must be made stronger to enforce
And eradicate the “double criminality”*** rule-
And corruption with bribery or money laundering
Should be set aside to engage the judiciary tool!
With progression of Internet, scenes from prostitutions
Of women and children are becoming a real hot cake-
And the traffickers are shopping for on-line destinations,
To ship the victims in a hurry only for monetary sake!
Unfortunately, the trafficking of women and children
Has remained an under-reported crime for past several years-
And many governments are in denial of this horrible
situation
To silence the retribution fears!
But in “H-Ray Vision”, laws are useless if they can’t be
enforced
For the lack of manpower or fund-
And the corrupted law officials, bribed by the traffickers,
Will continue to keep the public stunned!
No doubt, they hamper investigations, intimidate victims,
And prevent collection of data in a scrupulous way-
While the painstaking efforts to curb human trafficking
Become illusory, and the frontiers seem to sway!
Well, human trafficking is a booming transnational problem
With fastest growing criminal industry on Earth-
And the victims are becoming disposable commodities
From their enslavement since early birth!
Women and children forced into commercial sex
Are doubly victimized when criminalized on prostitution
charge-
While their traffickers, buyers, and controllers operate
With virtual impunity, or remain at large!
In developing nations, opportunities for economic
betterment
Appear to be the motivation for this heinous act-
Confronted with degrading poverty, no barrier is
insurmountable
To these victims, and that’s the obvious fact!
As per “H-Ray Tracing”, insatiable demands for cheap labor
and sex
In the country of destination set the traffickers’ goal too
high-
And makes it cumbersome to persuade the law officials
For any easy solutions with a deep sigh!
So the civil societies should come forward and play a vital
role
At international levels to erect the barrier-
Against human trafficking and profiteering, to raise the
level
Of human rights in their utmost carrier!
In our interdependent world today, I feel, the protection
Of human lives and dignity should germinate the humanity
seed-
Regardless of social standing, color, religion or
nationality,
And curve on Earth proudly an immortal deed!!

* “Debt Bondage”: Sometimes, girls are talked into
marriage under false pretenses and end up being sold as
prostitutes. Usually, a friend or sister, from the
potential country of destination, approaches these girls.
Typically, there’s a combination of local and foreign
traffickers. Women and girls are sold at the port of entry
upon arrival to the awaiting trafficker. The majority of
women and girls are given false travel/job documents with
false identity. This prevents them from seeking any legal
action. Once taken, they are held under “debt bondage” for
their travel expenses, and put to work immediately. At
their promised place of employment, the documents are taken
away, and the women and girls are left as slaves to endure
drug consumption and violence, as desired by the employer
(“Master”).
** “Owner-Slave Relationship”: The victims, who have
invested a large amount of money to reach their destination
and get set-up, have to re-pay the traffickers over time,
and thus a type of “owner-slave relationship” is
established.
*** Double Criminality Rule: According to this rule, a
sexual crime needs to be an offence in the source and
destination country for the crime to be penalized.

In my memory lane, I can vaguely remember

They have enriched themselves by increasing
Their political powers over too many years-
And rewarded their cronies while punishing the opponents
Through starvations or death fears!
War crimes and crimes against humanity are brutal episodes
That have shaken up the recent global peace-
Followed by wars, terrorism, and armed conflicts,
Causing the ripple effects daily that we can afford to miss!
Everyday we wake up to carry on our daily chores,
But for strange reasons, we seem to feel uneasy-
‘Cause we have to enter a world full of problems,
With images of death and destruction, to keep us busy!
People are being clubbed, stabbed, shot at,
And burnt alive to occupy the media and our mind-
While the accounting of casualties rings a bell of distrust
Over insane reality that we tend to find!
It happens quietly and mercilessly in the countries
That we have never heard of or visited before-
And over there, men in uniform perform their tasks
Of indiscriminate killings more and more!
The History teacher, trying to explain culture of peace,
Dialogue, and respect for diversity of a democratic rule-
Gets packed in a plane and sent to villages
Of “unpronounceable” names to face the slaughter tool!
People are being drafted and commissioned to make war
Before they even learn properly to think-
And at times, they are being cajoled into committing
Atrocities, or getting killed in the process to sink!
Waging war is an abomination coming from the past,
And peace is the fundamental human rights-
While the culture of open dialogue, and respect
For our fellow men, be promoted with real foresights!
In “H-Ray Vision”, modern war is a connection
To our cannibalistic past, and nonetheless a shameful deed-
And it’s promoted as a show of strength and power
From richer nations to the poor to plant the conflict seed!
Sometimes I wander, if cannibalism was exulted
By electoral campaigners, what would be the outcome?
In our civilization of third millennium, surely the voters
Would reject them to wash away the sadness scum!
War is only a show of foolishness with madness,
And we ought to “graduate” as men to please the gods-
And in order to be men, we have to understand
And love justice, like ancient Greeks, to get “Their” nods!
So, as long as we keep waging the absurd wars,
We are not worthy of calling ourselves as civilized men-
Like the Nazi leaders, who plunged the world into wars
And chaos, have been despised by history to erase the pain!
The present leaders who preach the gospel of war
Will inexorably fall in the waste bin of history page-
As no one will dare now to name his or her children
As Hitler* or Goering** to amaze!
Their rigid thinking, appealing to basic instincts,
Was pushed through a relentless repetition of lie-
While they presented themselves as common men,
Interested in helping the workingmen, till they die!
But tactfully they represented only the powerful cliques
And divided the world in us-
Like the ones worth richness and life, and the others
Worth enslaving or death, without any fuss!
They spoke of peace, the touchstone of lasting humanity,
But waged war, and the fools acclaimed them as their hero-
And even followed their paths towards crime
And self-destruction with a tolerance zero!
Through “H-Ray vision” and “Hillolscope”, I manage to see
That we are repeating the history over and over again-
’Cause men have not really learnt to abhor war,
Or that the right to peace is our human rights, not in vain!
We have not learnt yet to recognize how astute leaders
Can fool the people to stay in power-
And manipulate their minds to achieve
Cannibalistic frenzy from their palace or ivory tower!
The destruction of other human beings
And sacrifice of own lives become imminent for sure-
While the Hitler-Goering Syndrome runs rampant
In a hurry for the common men to endure!
Crazy leaders, psychopathic leaders, and deceiving leaders
Seem to be abound in every society now-
And they are producing the malady of war, the ultimate
Mental disease, with an extinction vow!
Unfortunately, no prevention, no vaccine, and no cure
Have yet been devised against this abysmal thought-
And we, the humanity, will be the victims of lethal frenzy;
Instead of learning from wars that we already fought!!

Even in my sub-conscious mind, judging criminals
After the fact is essential as a deterrent to others-
And I believe, the world is not indifferent to their
crimes,
Or to the fate of their victims and forefathers!
As per “H-Ray Tracking”, the twentieth century
Has bequeathed us an impressive set of human rights-
But there are still many areas lacking consensus
On interpretations, and they hide under political lights!
Some of us feel that use of death penalty of a criminal
Infringes the right to life for sure-
While others will argue that it’s an essential part
Of the machinery to protect that right and endure!
Similar arguments are flying about abortion
For several decades around the Earth-
And who is to take responsibility for decision,
When intervention is justified by necessity for birth!
The right of women to dress, as they like is resented
By others as an attack on their religion or culture-
Followed by the men wearing turbans and beards
Trigger suspicions and are watched like a vulture!
Via information superhighways, the words are out
Regarding a racial profiling in the West-
And whoever wants to travel with a visa will have
To leave fingerprints at port of entry, irrespective of
quest!
I have studied the resentments and arguments
Regarding these issues on both sides of the table-
And found the superficial reaction to a procedure,
Imposed on criminals and defendants, cited in the fable!
Such overwhelming necessities are yet to be justified
To regulate the individual feelings or sensitivity-
And are affecting the bio-political status of the citizens
Of so-called democratic states where we carry out activity!
As per “Hillologue”, attempts to convince us to accept
inhumane
And exceptional dimensions of our existence have been made-
Through the usage of racial profiling and electronic
devices,
Like cell phones and credit cards have already paid!
Undoubtedly, we are entering the era of animalization
Of mankind, established via sophisticated whistles and
bells-
And efforts are underway to control and manipulate
The living bodies, without floating on bio-political tales!
In “H-Ray Vision”, electronic tracking of finger
And retina prints fit such categories too well,
Followed by subcutaneous tattooing and other practices
Of similar type make my thoughts to swell!
The security reasons that are now implicated to justify
These devices should not impress us at all-
Rather, an explanation of my analogy may raise
Hemlines or eyebrows at the beck and call!
“H-Ray Tracking” alludes us to history and teaches
About practices, reserved first for foreigners and their
clans-
And later they invaded rest of the citizenry by a surprise,
Before the activation of own soothing plans!
The consequences of such “Hillolionic Condensate”
Elevate concerns or relationship between citizens and state-
Especially the free and active participations in public
spheres
Get damaged, along with “Hillonomics” and the fate!
Concerns begin to cloud over with the filing away
Of confidential aspect of subjectivity in each year-
And the body’s “biological life” feels strained
In anguish or dismay, and sobs in tear!
“Hillolscope” reveals, the gadgets that register and
identify
Naked life for the tracking and profiling stitch,
Correspond to the media devices in the shade
To control and manipulate the public speech!
Thus, in “Hillolian Flow of Thoughts”, the gadgets invented
To control dangerous classes, or rather a human being now-
Should constitute the precise space of political life,
Before the humanity turns into a revenge vow!
It’s obvious that West’s political paradigm had illuminated
The concentration camps and hegemonic power-
While the tattooing at Auschwitz still looms
in “Hillolsphere”
And reminds me the brutal abuse from ivory tower!
Well, tattooing at Auschwitz appeared to be an economic
Way of tracking detainees in concentration camps-
And allowed death tolls to rise, while world remained
silent,
And victims were burned alive under lamps!
So, the recent bio-political tattooing of the West reminds
me
The harbinger of what we will be asked to accept later-
Through devious identity registration, finger and retina
printing,
And make the national security better??
“H-Ray Vision” shows vigilance is essential – but in
exercising it,
Let us not loose the sight, until the guilt is found-
And let’s ensure that security measures are
Firmly founded in law, and we must be law bound!
Let us remember that diversity is what offers
The human species its splendor and light-
And enables us to make progress, as we learn
From each other, instead of engaging in fight!
Racial profiling or animalization of today’s humanity
Brings us “Hillominous Warning” for a short-term gain-
But moral clarity and intellectual accuracy will be
Always needed to flourish mankind and will never go in
vain!!
