If your non-profit organization is suffering through the recession like most, then this is the one fundraiser you should evaluate for your non-profit organization. With unemployment on rise, most with no healthcare, there has never been more need than now to save money on healthcare.
Our FREE DISCOUNT RX PHARMACY PRESCRIPTION CARD PROGRAM is as easy as it gets for your volunteers. No selling, just telling, and since most volunteers don't like to sell, and most people don't like to be sold, especially the usual overpriced useless products or services we all are tired of in the fundraiser industry, so imagine what the donors think when they see you coming. lol
Simply put, NO COST, NO INVENTORY, NO SELLING, JUST TELLING. Have businesses distribute special coded cards and your organization receives a fee everytime card is used all tracked by home office computer system. This is as easy as it gets.
See for yourself, instantly print off card on your printer and try it at your local pharmacies to see savings of up to 75%.
They are raising money for some programs in california.
They have coupons by local business and the school gets half the subscription fee paid by the business.
The school just does in house promotions and a couple of small events to promote the fundraiser.
I saved 20 bucks off an oil change and 40,000 service and I also saved 12$ on lunch. $32 in one day, and I did not pay a dime in fees or subscriptions.
Schools have to be creative now. This ones a winner
Like most fundraisers, many are local based like yours. It serves no one who is in another area of country, so I am happy to see your local coupon book performing for your school fundraiser, but our RX Discount Card works nationwide, so it applies to more readers than a local coupon book does.
You should add our Discount RX Card to increase the value of your coupon book significantly as many are selling out RX Cards for up to $100.00 or $4.50 per month, so the point is, value and offering what people need is what makes for a great fundraiser.
I agree, discount coupons work well, but looking at your site, there is not many choices at the moment. I started a similar local discount card as a fundraiser years ago and it was successful, so again, nothing wrong with coupons.
What we do is different, and also totally free to organizations. We provide the cards, non-profit organization is advised to share them with all those who are unemployed or uninsured, and ask for a small donation, whatever a person can afford. This is non selling, and volunteers prefer non sales fundraisers like this. In addition, they can go to local businesses and request that they purchase X amount of cards and display and use it as a sales incentive to increase sales by handing them out to their customers with a purchase, as example.
I have our volunteers go to local businesses and request $100.00 donation for 100 cards, so for a dollar a piece, it is very affordable to distribute to their customers as a sales incentive. Good will for a buck is a very powerful incentive showing your customers you care. There are so many ways to promote this concept, so everyone is free to choose what works best for them.
Everyone is looking for value and savings in a recession, consumers and business owners alike, and our RX Card plan works for both. It is easy to administer, it is totally free outside of the cost for custom display card holders for businesses, and as we all know, non-profits rarely have money to spend upfront for inventory. Our RX Cards usually generate on average a $10.00 donation. When we present it as a donation, not a specific price, most will offer more than if setting price at a fixed amount.
We are all looking to help non-profits, schools, churches and even local specific charities, and the more we have to offer, the more a non-profit can raise. I work with only recession proof fundraisers and this has been paying off for all involved.
Im not sure if you guys have heard about this kid, but he is an inspiration to all and a great role model for todays kids, his name is Bilaal Rajan and he is a tireless “fundraising wonderkid” who has raised millions to help children in need all over the world [link removed]

I bought some of these from college classmates who were raising money for something and I used them in my classroom store.
They are pencils that have various scents -- grape, lemon, orange, cherry, root beer, mint, etc. The kids love them and they have a nice profit margin.

I am a retired 8th Grade Reading Teacher. I retired due to Breast Cancer. I became involved in fundraising initially for Breast Cancer causes. However, many groups and organizations are successful with this type of fundraiser including PTA's and PTO's. Have you had a chance to view my website [link removed] ?
