In these hard economic times of deep recession, not only are consumers feeling the pinch, businesses, but also, non- profit fundraisers. With unemployment out of control, the volunteer pool has shrunk dramatically over the past year.

They are raising money for some programs in california.

They have coupons by local business and the school gets half the subscription fee paid by the business.

Like most fundraisers, many are local based like yours. It serves no one who is in another area of country, so I am happy to see your local coupon book performing for your school fundraiser, but our RX Discount Card works nationwide, so it applies to more readers than a local coupon book does.

You should add our Discount RX Card to increase the value of your coupon book significantly as many are selling out RX Cards for up to $100.00 or $4.50 per month, so the point is, value and offering what people need is what makes for a great fundraiser.

I agree, discount coupons work well, but looking at your site, there is not many choices at the moment. I started a similar local discount card as a fundraiser years ago and it was successful, so again, nothing wrong with coupons.

What we do is different, and also totally free to organizations. We provide the cards, non-profit organization is advised to share them with all those who are unemployed or uninsured, and ask for a small donation, whatever a person can afford. This is non selling, and volunteers prefer non sales fundraisers like this. In addition, they can go to local businesses and request that they purchase X amount of cards and display and use it as a sales incentive to increase sales by handing them out to their customers with a purchase, as example.

I have our volunteers go to local businesses and request $100.00 donation for 100 cards, so for a dollar a piece, it is very affordable to distribute to their customers as a sales incentive. Good will for a buck is a very powerful incentive showing your customers you care. There are so many ways to promote this concept, so everyone is free to choose what works best for them.

Everyone is looking for value and savings in a recession, consumers and business owners alike, and our RX Card plan works for both. It is easy to administer, it is totally free outside of the cost for custom display card holders for businesses, and as we all know, non-profits rarely have money to spend upfront for inventory. Our RX Cards usually generate on average a $10.00 donation. When we present it as a donation, not a specific price, most will offer more than if setting price at a fixed amount.

We are all looking to help non-profits, schools, churches and even local specific charities, and the more we have to offer, the more a non-profit can raise. I work with only recession proof fundraisers and this has been paying off for all involved.
