Green Fundraising Ideas

Let’s face it – finding the right fundraising idea for your sports team or community organization can be hard. You need to find a way to convince people to part with their hard-earned cash, and pushing questionable baked goods, wrapping paper and candy is SO 20th century.

There must be unique fundraising ideas that will grab people’s attention and get them to hand over the green, right?

Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock for a while, you know that we may be onto something with that “green” thing. Recycling is now not only good for the earth; it’s trendy and profitable too. So why not consider a recycling fundraiser? You don’t think those big office stores give you cash for your used ink cartridges out of the goodness of their hearts, do you? Nope. There’s money to be made from it. And if you can find them in the bottom of your kid’s toy box, there’s money to be made from recycling old cell phones too.
