I understand your desire to hire someone who has experience writing grants which fetch more than $5 million dollars. I cannot boast that I have been able to do so; however, I have just started to dabble into the field of writing educational grants, and have been 100% successful.
If your mission is something I feel I could support wholeheartedly, I believe I could help you. As a veteran English teacher who wants to transfer her writing skills and make a difference outside of the classroom, I can assure you that I would work tirelessly to find opportunities for your needs, address the grant requirements to specifications, keep in touch with the grant donors to make sure the guidelines are being met during the writing process, and continue to educate myself through grant writing seminars, books, and networking.
Please send me your mission statement. If we are on the same page, I will be happy to begin this grant writing career supporting your cause. If you then are willing to "try me out" on a freelance, part-time basis, I would be happy to prove myself.
Sincerely,
Gisele P. Cyr, M.Ed. (207) 784-0451 20 Orleans Street Lewiston, ME 04240
PS I will be out of the country over Christmas

Hi, I'm trying to find some information about grantwriting. First, I guess I need to find the best place to go for research. I'm a special education teacher and I would like to apply for grants to recieve resources for my classroom ex. electronics, manuplative, hands-on resources. I'm also a minority woman and would like to start a small business. I've heard that there are grants for someone with these qualification, but I'm not able to find out where to apply for them. Also, I volunteer for a catholic youth organization and I would like to apply for grants to help defray travel expenses and activites. I have no experience what so ever as where to start, what to do. I would like to hire someone to do this for me. I would like to hire a reputable individual or company with resonable prices. If anyone could help or knows of someone that may be able to help me please let me know. My email address is [email removed].

I think that it would be a good idea if you posted and said that I got your email and sent you a reply.
Stone Mountain Community Center formerly known-as IOG Community Youth Vocational Center has in the past five years dealt exclusively with disadvantage youth in our program Positive Spin Youth Development. We are in need of a larger facility to incorporate a daycare center, and to handle more start-up programs for after-school and summer without charge to families.
Need a Grant Manager who can handle federal, state, county and local grants for Georgia and the county of DeKalb. Need someone to be able to write their salary into the grant.
I notice many of you are seeking funding for excellent classroom projects. I began my grant writing career as a public school teacher needing to supplement a very small classroom budget. After 13 years as an educator and many successful grants later, I started my own grant writing firm. I know how to find opportunities and how to secure funding on all levels including local, state, and federal in addition to private foundations. Most importantly, I know about teacher's salaries and my fees are based accordingly.
Local grant dollars are allocated by store leaders to hometown organizations. Grantmaking focuses on the arts, education, and on family violence prevention. Support for the arts includes grants to make art exhibitions, classes and performances more affordable and accessible for families. Programs that bring arts to schools or school- children to the arts are of particular interest. Early childhood reading is an essential element of each child’s educational process; we fund programs that promote a love of reading or encourage children to read together with their families. We particularly focus on programs that inspire young readers (birth through third grade). We support family violence prevention including funding for parenting classes, family counseling, support groups and abuse shelters. Apply at your local store between 1 March and 31 May. Most grants average between $1,000 and $3,000.

I am in the process (talking) of taking over an existing Montessori school. Does anyone know of grants for moving expenses and / or Building expenses? I am interested in establishing a for-profit or non-profit daycare center in Harnett County, North Carolina that would provide services to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old. I would like an inclusive program that would accept children with behavioral/learning disabilities and autism. My goal is a medium to large center.
I am the parent of an autistic child and I would love to help you in obtaining funds for your childcare center. Too often the kids with "behavioral issues" are ignored although the behaviors are a symptom of their disability. I have recently completed grant writing courses and would welcome the opportunity to help you free of charge in an effort to get my grant writing business off the ground. Feel free to email me privately at [email removed].

I am working for a private childcare facility/preschool. This is a profit oriented business, not a non-profit care facility. The children are from middle-class homes, mostly white, but there are some Indian (Asian origin), African-American, and Hispanic students as well. We do not serve students with special needs. The facility is in Texas, in a suburban community near city of 1.5 million people.
I am in need of a grant that will provide monies for new playground equipment. I can do a light research grant that focuses on physical education if needed, but would prefer a facility improvement, health improvement, or education improvement grant.
I have searched the ed.gov website and egrants.gov with little success. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for where to look or who might be able to help.

I am in search of a grant that would help me to tutor elementary children after school and during the Summer vacation. I am a paraprofessional with a love and passion for teaching children as well as motivating their self esteem. I have some great ideas that I am positive will increase the performance of children that are struggling in school.

Hey, did you get any response? My friend and I share a teaching position and we are also looking for a way to provide free tutoring in the summer for 10-20 sessions per child. We're still searching for grants. If we find one, we'll let you know.
