Yes, I am asking how to find the websites that I could apply for a grant as a private school teacher. Can you help me with that? I would like to find some christian-friendly companies or organizations that provide grants or donations to private schools. Thank you.Diana

So tell me what you have done so far to find these grant programs?
As far as "christian-friendly" organizations are concerned you really shouldn't limit yourself. There are many organizations out there that want to help by providing financial help.
There is absolutely no secret into finding these programs. You have to look for them. I know its more easier to ask someone else to do it than to do it yourself but it involves a lot of work!

The problem with your post is that you don't say what kind of daycare center that you want to open. Previous times before I have said that there are no "blind" grant programs that give grant money to do anything that you want but I have since had to change that because I found out that there were such grant programs.
Go to any grantwriter and they are going to have to know the answer to some basic questions such as whether or not your daycare will be in your home or will it be in a separate facility? Will your daycare be a for-profit, non-profit or a combination of both?
I doubt that you are going to get any kind of responses that you will be able to use.
Does anyone know how I can go about getting a grant to open an assisted living facilty in florida.I am licensed with the dept. of elder affairs and am trying to open an ALF.I only need help with the finances.

First does not your district or school have a computer lab? OK for grants your district receives funding called Enhancing Education Trough Technology so you need to check with the person in your district who is in charge of Title programs. Also there is the 21st CCLC grant through your state and also through the US Department of Education there are several grants that can be applied for.
If you need more information please feel free to contact me.

I'm a little bit confused about your post. Are you saying that you are writing a grant application or that you are creating a grant program that has to do with literacy?
If it is the former then hopefully you already have the grant program that you are applying for because the grant program itself will spell out exactly what kind of information that you have to send them.
If the grant is for researching literacy and its impact on the community then you can pull up data from the internet about this.
Basically speaking though the more literate a community the better they are to be able fill out job applications, be able to read and study manuals, be self-sustaining and more independent and being able to take part in more artist, scholarly and social interaction.
Grants provide K-12 educators with funding to provide innovative learning opportunities for their students. Teacher Grant awards range from $100 to $500 each and are used to finance creative classroom projects. Typically, 200-300 grants are awarded each year.

Would anyone have an idea as to where I can get a grant or sponsor for a fifth grade class to a Science education camp near our area? We are from California and we are a low socio-economic school. We plan to have fundraisers, but because of the high cost of living, we may not raise enough funds. We are hoping that we could also have extra funds to rent a smal bus/van to accomodate those who do not have a ride. So could someone please give me some ideas? We would appreciate it very much.
Check out Wal Mart small grants. A teacher last week received $5,000 for class projects. There are other grants and if you need more information please contact me off line.

Many of you are familiar with the Donors Choose program that has provided lots of grants to teacher created projects all over the country. Now they are one of the top five candidates for the Master Card Member's project program. If you are a master card member you can vote for the project of your choice. The winner gets $5 million in grant money from Master Card!!!! It is soooo easy and takes no time at all. Just go to [link removed]!
I am a kindergarten teacher in Florida. I would like to learn more about the grant writing process, but I don't know where to start. I would love to focus on increasing literacy/math skills in my classroom. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
