It looks like I'll be accepting a 7th/8th grade English
teaching position (3 classes of 8th and 2 classes of 7th)
in the middle of this school year. Their 1st teacher left
after 6 weeks due to an illness, and their 2nd teacher
left last week with no notice. I have 5 years elementary
experience - mostly 5th grade - but no middle school.
I could really use any and all help. Any ideas of how to
get them on my side?? (I was thinking of maybe spending a
day or 2 on ice breakers - like 2 truths and lie.)
