Suess Week

If you are looking for a fun week this is it. Begin with
a book share. children share favorite parts of their
favorite seuss book. Get together with either an older or
younger class and have your students do the reading or be
read to. Make hats and on each stripe write the books you
liked the best. Keep a daily journal of what you do as a
class. THis is good PR for your classrooms with the
parents. Game days focusing on what ever you are learning
about but use seuss characters and story ideas to base the
games around. Create stories about a combo animal.
Combine two animals and make a story about this animal
and illustrate a picture of this animal. These are funny
and great for the kids to write about. Fishing game is
fun. Make a fishing pole with tape or funtack on the end
of a string (this works better than a magnet)Each fish has
a word on it and they have to read the word and put it on
