My 7th grade LAL & SS class is looking for assistance with our project. We need students worldwide to complete and submit the below information by November 30, 2006.
Students would need to nominate an individual to be president or leader of their country. They would write a brief persuasive report including information about the candidate's hometown, education, family, work experience, personal characteristics and why that person should be elected. All submissions will be shared on December 6, 2006.

This is to inform you that the interactive inventive methods on my website: inventive-internet.com have been allowed a U.S. Patent. These methods are what is now called a Ktool (an innovation that produces innovations) which can quickly and endlessly define new inventions or variations. And they will lead the way to most of the world's economies becoming "knowledge based."
The website is being refined and will be up in a week or two.
I've searched and searched in trying to find a postcard exchange for my class of 5th graders to join and cannot find any to join. Therefore I've decided to start my own. :)
I am currently seeking states across the U.S. to join in this postcard exchange. I'm seeking 2 classes per state (except IL, I only need one.) I have about 120 students that will be participating in this and I'm making it optional.
Over winter break, for students that would like to participate, I am going to send home a letter that request students to bring in an Illinois postcard and a stamp to school when they return from break. Where we are living, you can find postcards at Jewel, Dominicks, Hallmark and other known grocery stores. This is just an idea!
I'm hoping to have the postcard exchange completed by mid-February.
For anyone that would like to join this list to participate, please email me at the address listed above and I will email you the site that I am designing to host our school addresses and information.

Does anyone know how to build a catapult that can launch an egg, unbroken, over a 1.5 meter wall, 2.0m from the catapult. It eventually has to hit a target a total of 6.0 meters from the launch point. The mass can't be more than 2kg and it can be no more than .8m in height. Help!
My name is Edward Goas. I am a graduate student at the University of Advancing Technology in Arizona, pursuing a Master's degree in Technology Management. My thesis involves digital media. More specifically, it involves digital books, or eBooks. Estimated completion time of the survey is 5 minutes. You do not need to be a regular eBook reader to take part in this survey. Feel free to leave any answers blank and submit an incomplete survey; it’s quite all right!
For those interested, I will happily provide my data and thesis upon its completion to anyone who submits a survey. I’ll provide it in any format you’d like.
Here is a link to it: [link removed]
There is a short introduction that explains what I am researching and what I mean by the terms 'digital media' and 'eBook'. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Unfortunately, the scope of my thesis is limited to people residing in the United States.
