I'm looking for elementary classes to take part in our Traveling Buddy project to tie in with our Social Studies curriculum. My goal is for students to learn about 3 key concepts; natural resources, physical geography and climate of each of the places that our buddy travels to by writing a short note from your class as well as include brochures, map or a couple items where you live and learn! We are also able to skype to check in on our buddy (but this is not necessary to take part in our project!)
Our class would send along our buddy, along with information all about where we live and learn. The buddy will stay with each class participating for two weeks. If you are interested, please email me @ alohamomts(@) yahoo . com (just make sure to type it as a valid email address!)
>> >>...See Morehello Tiffany I tried e-mailing you about the status of the traveling buddy group. I wanted to know if I am still a part of your group? I have two other schools that want to participate. I have not heard from you and need to plan who and where as the school approaches. Please let me know. Thank you for your time. Virginia
Yes! I just looked and your emails went to my spam. Sorry about that! Yes, I'd love to still have you participate!' I will be sending out an outline of the project tonight.
Thanks again!!!! Tiffany :)

Hello is there a group that needs a class for a Traveling Buddy? I will meet the deadlines as we have participated in the past and found this project to be very rewarding. Thanks

Lindsay Paterson Music Teacher Westgrove Primary School...See MoreSally the Music Monkey from Melbourne has already been to the USA twice as well as England, Canada & Thailand. She's got itchy feet again....here's a chance for your mascot to spend a southern Summer "Down Under" (or can be returned prior to Christmas).
Anyone interested?
