Please let me know asap if you are inter...See MoreI am a pre-K teacher in the New Orleans area. I am looking for 3-4 classes in different areas of the country to exchange traveling buddies. Each participant would be visited by the 4 buddies. I would also like to Skype with the classes if possible. I did this with previous classes and they loved it!
Please let me know asap if you are interested, I'd like create the traveling schedule for all the buddies before we start school.
Is anyone doing a leaf exchange or a chicka chicka boom boom letter exchange this year? My students really enjoyed these. Please let me know! Thanks Deb
I teach 4th grade in the Poconos of Pa, however, this works for any elementary grade! My Traveling Buddy Project is a collaboration between teachers and schools around the world where children learn about the natural resources, physical geography and climate native to their environment through the sharing of a journal, keepsake items and technology.
How it works: (The Basics!) * Our buddy visits for 2 weeks * Each class completes one info page * If you're able to, we'd love to skype! * Send back some goodies that represent your state: postcards, maps, etc. * Post or follow our private wiki!
The most exciting part is that your class will be able to see and learn about the places our Travel Buddy has already been during the school year last year because I am looping! So, our buddy has already been to so many amazing places! Message me if you're interested! The more classes, the better! :)

[email r...See MoreI have a Kindergarten group in Kansas that is looking for a few travel buddies, preferrably outside of the US. We would like to do an exchange of items of your culture and have the kids do a log with our buddy. If you are interested, please email me with TRAVEL BUDDY as the subject to ensure it doesn't get lost in the spam filter.
