To all general and special education teachers or future teachers
I am conducting an online study for my doctoral dissertation in the area or socio/sexual development of students with disabilities ( I also talk about students without disabilities but the main focus is disabilities)
The seminar is FREE , you can take it at your own pace and it is all ONLINE ( it should take approx. 2 hrs to complete if done the same day)
When completed, you will be entered for a chance to win a gift certificate to Barnes and Nobles for $100 or you can choose to be paid $15 for your time.
The doctoral study is approved by Teachers College, Columbia University and your participation is really appreciated!
Devereux, the nation’s largest non-profit organization that provides behavioral health services, is developing the Devereux Elementary Student Strength Assessment (DESSA) to promote the healthy social and emotional development of children. We are looking for teachers/staff and parents who interact with kindergarten through 8th grade students on average 5 hours a week. We are asking them to fill out a 10- to 15-minute, anonymous behavior rating survey of kindergarten through 8th grade students.
In return, Devereux will make a donation of $2.50 in cash or $3.50 in Kaplan Early Learning Company gift certificates ([link removed].
You can help by doing any and all of the following things:
1. If you are a parent of a child/children currently in grades K-8, you can learn more about this project and complete the survey online at [link removed].
2. If you are a teacher of grades K-8, you can fill out a form on 2 or 4 children in your class, and/or we can talk about putting together a fundraiser for your school by getting other teachers to participate as well.
3. You can forward this message along to your friends, family, and coworkers who are teachers or parents themselves, or who may be able to forward this message to parents and teachers all around the country.
4. If you have any connections to schools in your area, you can pass this along to them and send me their contact information so that we can talk about putting together a fundraiser for that school by getting teachers and parents to participate. (The fundraisers can be for other groups, too... such as choir, scouts, teams, band, PTA, the possibilities are endless!)
To find out more information about this project or to receive surveys, please contact Alisia Tran at 610-542-3117 or [email removed]].
Thank you again so much for your contribution to this important cause!!
Sincerely,
The Institute of Clinical Training and Research Team Devereux Foundation

Work from home pt/ft be your own boss, dont have to wake up to a alarm clock, spend more time with your kids or family and be able to create a residual income, so you no longer have to go looking for a summer job, stay home work from home. What if there was a way to start a home-based business, just like more than 50 million households did last year, and participate in a $100 billion industry that allows you to:
• Do something you already know how to do • Work alongside your main job until you've created a large enough secondary income • Blend family, friends and fun with work and income, allowing more time for both • Determine your daily activities; instead of someone else determining them for you • Take advantage of tax savings offered to small businesses
Would you like to have more time and money for your family? Do you value having creative control over your life and work? Would you like to benefit from the advantages of owning your own business? Do you care about others and want to make a positive difference contributing to people's lives? email me i would love to hear from you and show you how you can get started before the summer is here have a blessed day, [email removed]

Absolutely no truth! I'm linking the Anchorage School District salary page. Bush districts pay more but the cost of living is MUCH higher out there and you would have very high transportation costs for flying in and out.
Again in 2005 Binney & Smith, the maker of Crayola products is offering a unique opportunity to assist parents with their Back-to-School shopping while earning a 150.00 Walmart gift card(30 bucks an hour!) as a Crayola Teacher consultant. In the past this has been a highly successful program and has received rave reviews for parents, teachers and Wal- Mart staff. We are seeking teachers and or adminstrators who would be willing to work at a local Wal-mart for one - five hour day (12:00-5:00 pm), assisting shoppers with their BTS shopping list. We will be offering the 2 Saturday's and Sunday's before school starts and the Weekend after school begins at each store location. Space is very limited - we are accepting applications on a first come, first serve basis for the next week. If you are interested, please contact me at - [email removed]

I thought some of you might be interested in my novel entitled "Soul of the South" which is being tentatively released for the winter of 2005. It is filled with action, romance, and intrigue, as my protagonist serves the South as a spy in Washington, as a diplomat in England and France, and as an officer in the Army of Northern Virginia. My protagonist is also adamantly against slavery, as he makes known to President Lincoln and Confederate President Davis. And, of course, there is much romance in my novel, as my protagonist William Lytham meets a beautiful woman Melanie Wenning from Virginia set against the backdrop of a beautiful woman he meets in France as a Southern diplomat. Without giving away too many details, William marries one of them amidst much acclamation with a surprise individual as the best man. You are more than welcome to read a chapter excerpt and purchase the novel on my web site at [link removed].
