Hi! I teach 2nd grade in Texas and have started a postcard exchange throughout the US. I was hoping to find a class in Alaska that would like to join in! The details are below. If you would not like to do this, but know of someone who might, could you please forward this post to them? Thanks a lot and have a great year!
We have a postcard exchange that has some open spots that we are hoping to fill. You would be committing to send 49 postcards to different classrooms throughout the US. They are counting on you for that state so please only sign up if you will follow through. In return, you will receive 49 postcards from around the country. Please email me your name, email, school address, and what grade you teach and I will add you to our database. I look forward to hearing from you! [email removed]
For those of you looking for music resources on the Internet please try my page and tell me what you think . I also am working on getting several pieces of equipment for my classroom that the kids will be using to make the webpage even better. One of the way I am raising funds, is by submitting grants to two websites that allow you to contribute any amount you would like to the project. The websites are Adopt-a-Classroom and Donor's Choose - any and all donations are appreciated. The address is [link removed]
We are looking for a class to partner with for a project. Our school is a New Technology High School based on doing Project Based Learning with a 1 to 1 ration of students to computers. We team teach English 10 and Civics/Economics. The project is to design to have the student to create a mall. I will teach a variety of Economics terms and concepts along with many other concepts. I would like to have a partner school that would judge our presentations by video conference. We would in return evaluated their presentation by video conference on the same project.
