Boy BSSD doesn't fool around. They really hit the ground running. I was checking the ATP website and they've already posted. How much longer til NSBSD posts?
We are planning to visit Alaska in early August and would like some ideas of those "must see" places. We are thinking of flying in to Anchorage and going from there. We are planning our own trip instead of some pre-packaged tour so we are looking for suggestions from those who know best what is and isn't worth seeing. TIA
From my understanding, an evergreen clause provides for automatic renewal of the contract unless specifically rejected. Unheard of in Alaska, I believe, at least until lately.
What at the schools like? Are classroom materials relatively current? How current are the textbooks? How current are computers, software, and peripherals? Are there any interactive whiteboards?
I integrate technology into every facet of the subjects I teach. Do sites have Moodles set up?

So... I guess it would be a safe bet that a 6-12 Science/Math teacher with extensive Apple server maintenance/client software deployment and Moodle management experience would probably be able to find a position up there?
Especially if he were one half of a teaching couple that would consider one of the smaller outlying villages.
