Fellow Teachers, My husband and I are cruising to Alaska in a week. We have never been there before, and are quite excited about seeing your beautiful state. Question: How long will it take to drive to Denali Park from Anchorage? How long to drive to Talkeetna? Thanks, Teacher from Ohio
It depends on how many stops you make of course! and on road construction, we ALWAYS have road construction, and on where in Anchorage you are staying. It usually takes about 2 hours, maybe 2 1/2 to drive into Talkeetna. Denali Park is another 1 1/2 hours north. anymore questions?

I stumbled on this chatboard. I am a parent - however I would like to get some input from teachers.
I pulled my 11 year old son out of public school in March after the 4th and final physical attack.
In these times of Zero Tolerance - why in elementary school does that seem to be a foriegn concept?
The bully that hurt my son also bullied and harrassed other children - and when he saw he could "get away with it" the harrassment escalated to physical violence.
The boy was also the "teachers pet" this has left our family asking WHY -
