I know this site doesn't get visited much, but I will wait
around for your answers.

I was spoiled and lived near Mexico, so there were cheap
little restaurants everywhere that had great food. I
really miss carne asada burritos. I don't care about the
cost, I just want a REALLY GOOD carne asada burrito.
I also am craving a chimichanga.

My other question is, where can you buy a maunapua? or hom
baou (I don't know about the spelling) The doughy things
with pork or chicken in them?

OK, people, feed me.

I love Sorrentos for Italian and Uncle Joe's calzones.

Besides pizza places, what other restaurants do I NEED to
try?
I can answer this one! (Librarian) /blockquote>

The Greek Corner on Fireweed is really good too. And that place
on the corner of C and Benson with the Chicago style hot dogs
from a van is very authentic! (I'm from Chicago originally.)
Tasty Italian Beef, too.

Haven't been to Momma O's on Spenard in a long time but they had
really good fried halibut ...See More

I live within a mile of C/Benson, and of course that Greek place
on Fireweed. I'll have to get eating.

I can't get rid of this cold, so I can't taste anything. Once
it's gone, I'm going to check some of those places out.
I'll let you know. : )
