I am curious as to how hard it would be for an outsider to
move to Alaska and get a teaching job. Myself I would be
happy with a good job that could pay the monthly bills as
I have no plans on getting rich.
But my wife is a teacher with 3 years of experience.
She has a Bachelors Degree in Early Ed./Special Ed. A
certification to teach K-6 and her Masters Degree in
Gifted Education.
How hard would it be for her to find a job teaching? We
are really interested in areas around Anchorage or the
Kenai Peninsula area. Or somplace in some of the outling
areas.
Thanks for any information you can pass our way. I
really appreciate it.

go to the Anchorage School district's website and follow the
links for employment information. I'm pretty sure we're going to
vote to accept the new contract, too.
