I am currently in the process of getting a teaching certificate in the state of Idaho (I will graduate in May). I am going to be able to teach secondary sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, and earth science) and I was wondering how difficult it might be for a new teacher to find a job in Alaska.

I am planning on going to the ATP job fair in Seattle in April. Do you have any advice? Are there certain areas in Alaska that would be recommended to teach in over others?

I would appreciate any help that you could give me! Thank you for your time!
Anchortown teacher I would recommend staying on the road system especially if it's your first year of teaching. Check out Anchorage School District, Kenai Borough, Matsu, and Fairbanks N. Star Borough.

I am in elementary, so don't really know what the high school job market is like.
