As stated above, I'm from Oklahoma. I'm currently a student earning a degree in Chemistry Education. I visited Alaska years ago and fell in love with the beauty of place and the warmth of the people. I'd love to begin my career there. When it comes to conditions that are not the "norm" in the lower 48, are there any circumstances of which I should be aware? I want to make an informed decision. Thank you.
txteacher I've been teaching for 6 years in another state. You need to apply for an Alaska Certificate for principals to take you seriously. Once you graduate you can start the paperwork.
