A private Islamic school in Huntsville will need a certified
teacher to begin in December, but might be able to begin
earlier. The pay is low (?low 20s?) but if you are in the
situation of waiting for AL certification or the next school
year hiring, this could be a good opportunity for you. They
will accept a teacher certified in any state. Religious
studies are handled by another teacher. I taught there for
five years and it was my best teaching experience to date.
There are other non-Muslim teachers there that you could ask
about how it is working there. Email your resume if you are
interested.

I forgot to say that the school is a preK -6th grade. The
position is for a 3rd/4th multiage class with fewer than 10
students.
