A kindergardern teacher at Ashland Primary school administered a paddling to a 5 year old, disabled boy. She said this boy was being defiant. I have knoledge of this little boy. He is an epileptic. From the age of 1 to 3&1/2 he had uncontrollable grand maul seziers. He did not speak untill he was 4, and now communicates like a 2 year old. He needs extra help. Instead of extra help he was labeled as a trouble maker and defiant after only two weeks in school. He was paddled for a minor issue. His disability was not taken into consideration. His grandmother said he had bruses all on his backside when she picked him up. Abuse like this should not be allowed in our Alabama school system. I am ashamed of how low our school system has gotten.
