Retired Teacher-Helen (Choctaw, AL)

I'm searching for information about my biological grandmother and need some assistance if any is possible.

I am told her first name is Helen, she's a Choctaw Indian, who was a retired school teacher. Probably retired in the late 1970s or early 1980s. We believe she taught Math at Choctaw High or Central High School. I did already email Choctaw High School for some help if possible a few minutes ago.

Just trying to find additional information about the woman who had my mom in whom I wasn't able to meet before she passed. My whole family would appreciate any information. I was told she asked to see us (her grandchildren) only a few days before she passed.

She did get married to my mom's dad and became Helen Harris but I'm trying to find out if she had any other relatives also and if so, her maiden name.
