I am looking for Assistant Principal or Principal positions in the Fayetteville area and I am seeing absolutely nothing. Is there a special website listing administrative positions?

Ive been looking also and have found most Admin. positions are listed on individual school web sites and not on the job boards like other states do.
Do your enrollment forms ask for race? Are the racial breakdowns for every school available on your internet? Do your state tests break down results by race? Some of us who have taught in other states have never seen this before. Thanks!
Soon to become a reading first school, I've been looking over the first grade protocol. What is your interpretation from the spelling/phonics section of protocol: Teacher makes students’ cognitive manipulations of sounds overt by using concrete representations, e.g., claps, Elkonin boxes. - this is under the phonological awareness section.
The Arizona Department of Education is pleased to announce the Second Annual Great Arizona Teach-In. This one-stop education career fair will provide comprehensive information to current and future education professionals. Schools from across the Great State of Arizona wish to hire general and special educators, SLPs, psychologists, administrators, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and more! Participating schools will be conducting on-site interviews to obtain the best and brightest to serve Arizona students.
Why travel all over the state, when you can come to one event and interview with as many Arizona schools as you like? Need certification services? No problem. Want to obtain a fingerprint clearance card? Easy! At the Great Arizona Teach-In, you can get everything done, all in one place. A resource room will feature information on a wide array of education employment issues (finger printing, certification, highly qualified issues, etc.). Arizona colleges and universities will also be on hand to provide information on degree programs and resources for educators.
This free event will be on Monday, March 5, 2007 from 2pm- 7pm at the Phoenix Convention Center. For more information, please visit [link removed]
Outstanding Arizona schools will be at the Teach-In, Will you?
I am starting a discussion board on topics of interest. I need your input on topics. If there is little response to this board I will probably close it down. Your thoughts are welcomed.
I am a certified teacher in grades 1-6, but I have decided to get kindergarten certification as well. I have learned that I need to take an Arkansas History class!!I really need to find a class on-line. Can anyone help me?? I am close to Arkansas Tech in Russellville. Doe anyone know if they offer an on-line class?
Joyce, what was the class like? How long was the class? How many tests were there? Did you take tests online or did you have to go somewhere that is proctored?

I want to relocate (from out of state) to Rogers. I just saw that they already had their teacher job fair...is it too late for me to get a job for next school year?
I am from Okla and me and my husband relocated here to Rogers. We love it. I did not know anyone in the district so I just went to every school and made appointments with principals. March and april are the best times because teachers are transferring. I was hired 2 days after school started because the enrollment was more than they expected. so I came in, and in 24 hours I was teaching full throttle the next day. I came to Ark with 20 years experience. they gave me 12 years to start on the pay scale. I have been here 11 years now and love it. We actually live in Bella vista. You can teach in Rogers, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Gravett, PeaRidge, lots of places to look for a job. If you can speak Spanish you will be hired in a minute because our Hispanic population is 60 percent now. after looking around we settled in Bella Vista because you get more money for your house, we love to fish and there are 8 golf courses and lots of trees! good luck......you will love it!
rogers teacherNope. Jobs have not been posted for new hires yet. We are still waiting to here about in district transfers. It is going to be tight this year. I started in Rogers last year. I go hired a week before school started.
101 Norfork Resort offers teachers and admin 50.00 dollars off a three night or more stay. They have upscale chalets and hot tubs that are covered and private but still let you watch the bluebirds, deer and dogwoods just opening up. No screaming children,no highway noise nothing but heaven on earth.
