Can anyone tell me about getting a job through NTPL. I have just finished my second praxis (hope I passed) and I am in my last semester of college. I was wondering if I could or should start looking for a job now. I live in NW ark and I know of a few openings here for my subject (secondary math). Any advice would be helpful.
If you want a job in NWA I would suggest going through the MAT at Fayetteville. NTLPs are usually last choice for a job, and the districts in NWA get hundreds of applications from teachers all over Arkansas, plus the MAT interns which work in the districts each year.

Ahoy, I'm wanting to enroll in the NTLP program and (sometime this century) teach high school lit. I've registered to take the Praxis II tests 041 English: Content Knowledge and 042 English: Essays. Do I not need to take Principles of Learning and Teaching for entrance into the program? I just want to make sure I'm taking all the tests I need. I have a BA in English and writing and I've taken the Praxis I. Is there anything else I need to do?
This whole mess makes me a tad nervous as I know nothing about teaching.
First, let me say "Yeah it's over!!!" Here's the information I've found. Hope it helps.

Can anyone tell me about the online or distance learning AR History courses offered around the state? Specifically, is there one where I can write a paper or something instead of having to go take tests like you have to for the one from UA Fayetteville? I don't mind writing papers and stuff, but it's hard for me to get the time to go and take those tests. Thanks!

Lady, you really need professional help. I don't think The Bible says anything about volunteering to get your ass whipped . And, oh, I bet that AP was married. You better call his wife and confess.
You have me confused with Laura. I did not offer up my behind for a whipping.

While certain federal employees can opt out of Social Security, I don't think the rest of us can. So the employer pays half the Social Security tax, and the employee pays the other half.
