I recently received my degree in Journalism with an emphasis
in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from Arkansas
State University in Jonesboro. I am wanting to receive my
licensure for high school math education. I'm wanting advice
on what would be my best route in achieving my licensure. I
am also interested in teaching journalism. Any thoughts or
ideas?

From the information that I have obtained from AR DOE and
what I do know about the NCLB/Highly Qualified rules that go
into effect nationwide on July 1st, 2006 you won't be able
to teach math until you can be certified in math and have a
substantial number of education credits/hours.
